Baby You are and Nonstop is a retro late 80s sound. It's so groovy perfect for driving vibes! EXO's music is very diverse that they can pull any genre. They're not afraid to experiment with new and different sound. Kings indeed!

For me: Obsession is the best EXO album, all songs are great, vibes, fire and bangers. My favourite song in this albums is "Groove".

*Ya ya ya produced by Dem jointz is a demo from a 90s American RnB group SWV, "you're the one" which we can hear clearly in the song.
*I fckn agree with u as well, i love the chemistry between dem jointz and Exo just pure art.
*This album is so diverse that u can literally go from a hero/villain to a main character to a person full of swag, funk, and love.
*We never know what exo's sound will be next. they have done so many diverse and innovative sounds that I fckn love. yep

Obsession was during the time Xiumin and D.O. were doing their military service. Lay was not yet allowed to join on this one as the political situation between China and S.Korea was not yet good that time. So yes only 6 members.

I love the fact that we all have different tastes in music. My favorite among the three is Baby You Are, next is Non Stop, and then Ya Ya Ya.
i always call Obsession "My Weekly House Cleaning Album" because i listen to it almost every time i clean my house or room. it gives such a positive energetic vibe to finish the job at hand tbh. from Obsession upto Butterfly Effect. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Thanks for reacting to Exo! My favorites are 9 out of 10 times the R&B and hip hop style songs but for some reason, over the years of listening to this album "Baby You Are" has become my favorite. At the beginning it was almost a skip for me but now I absolutely love it. It's so nostalgic or melancholic for some reason. Especially the part at 14:07 😭 Yayaya is still a certified banger though with that SWV sample... 🔥
