In our latest episode of Absurd Fan Theories, Algee Smith - who stars as Euphoria's resident mcm, McKay - stopped by to stir up our biggest bets for season two. I don't think it's that crazy that Lexi is in love with Rue. If you watch the show back there are very subtle hints that point in that direction.
Or maybe she’s trying to be best friends with her again. Caring about someone doesn’t instantly equal that they’re trying to get romantically involved with them
Sky Raven but they did become friends again. Lexi definitely has feelings for rue, there’s a couple times where you can see her look at Jules and rue together and she seems a bit jealous. The kissed they shared when they were younger is like foreshadowing.

I love how it shows the conflicted morality behind being a dealer and providing for your family, all meanwhile you yourself are still young... And doing it in such a sensitive, complex way that really reflects reality and with a compelling and sweet character behind all that

I don’t think Rue and Lexi will be in a relationship in season 2. BUT Lexi being in love with Rue, that’s a fact not a theory!!
I really want them to be though.
It's not a matter of "Jules doesn't deserve Rue" or whatever, but more of Jules is on some higher level journey in life. I mean she even said it herself, she wants to level up, and go farther in life. So I don't think Rue and Jules are on the same page. And the fact that Rue is so infatuated with Jules makes me feel like the relationship might end up being toxic. She's better off with Lexi, cause 1. they're in the same place and level in life, just here... highschool, family... that's what matters to them at the moment, and 2. chemistry

Rue need to get better for herself and i guess she needs some time to figure it out. That´s why I dont think they would be in a relationship when Jules gets back. But it would be nice too :)

The fact that this show is only 8 episodes long (so far) it got me real deep. The lighting is surreal, the acting amazing, the plot interesting all perfect. I think that Rue had overdosed at the end of season BUT I think she'll be saved at the last moment, destroying all the work she done. Like the previous episodes mentioning that life is a suffocating repeating loop. I'm really excited to see the next season. Amazing work
