You broke the number one rule about fishing at Dixieland… NO castanets… lol not unless you’re trying to get rid of it. I was fishing that lake when the mall was not even built yet, and US Homes was barely built. The Taco Bell now sits where the old movie projection building used to sit. Valle Vista mall was nothing but grass and mesquite trees. Hooters sits where Anglo Iron Recycling center used to be. And cars were allowed to drive almost all the way around the lake.
Sorry y’all letting you know right now that .. that was my net and crazy story (I bought it at academy first day 85$ net and first day I go try it at the Dixie land and I lost it to those rocks 😂😂😂) And yes!! I tried 3 hours in the rain to get it out that day I’m very sorry !
@@bb7971 Any fish that doesn't appeal to most fisherman. They dont excite the taste buds, or the sport. They don't really serve a purpose but to invade waters and over populate among catfish, bass, etc etc; fish that people like to catch for fun or for eating. Kinda like a nice neighborhood being invaded by thugs is the best way I can put it. 👍

Yeah there's surprisingly good fish in there. I don't take home but fun to catch. Good place to lose gear though

It's not the first or last net to get stuck there. When they drained out some of the water I got out about 6 of them. Not a good place to throw them.
