I'm definitely getting a set of these. Working at a tire shop around loud air tools and semi's, my hearing has been getting a little worse. I've already got a bump helmet because I'm tired of hitting my head while under trucks and trailers. Also I need the comms so. Hopefully they'll work well for me.
I like the idea of the second wire on that runs to the gun on the PTT, and you made a good point of how you don't want to take your hand off of the gun, but in airsoft you can easily wield an M4 or similar platform with one hand and still be effective. that feature seems to be a bit pointless for airsoft. for me it just gets in the way.

How do the ear cushions feel? Like, do they give you a headache when you’ve been wearing them for a few hours? And can you wear eye-pro under them comfortably? My current ear-pro kills me after about 30 minutes of wearing them with eye pro
I'm glad they brought out the Mod 1 pretty quickly after the initial one. The battery caps on the previous one were terrible, as the headset didn't even last a single skirm. The Mod 1's are still going strong.
Hello! You mentioned on your video that it comes with a 3.5mm AUX audio input cable for media devices. Where is it? I got my headset today, and I can't figure out where to plug the aux into.

Do these have stereoscopic sound? I've been looking for the answer everywhere and nobody mentions it. Particularly on the mod3's. I have a pair of walkers that are not and it drives me nuts not being able to tell what direction sounds are coming from.
I've watched a review of the mod 2 and the guy said they were stereo. I ordered the mod 3 yesterday if you want to i can try it out and text you as soon as they arrive.

Great headsets, have two of them...one for helmet and one to use over my cap. :) Great quality and batteries last an age and work great with my UV5-R radio. **Edit..I don't have MOD2..but original's...still great and love them!! :)

The Heresy Group Turns out it was old batteries. Popped a new set in and they work great. Still looking into PTT’s as I found the ztac style doesn’t work. I tried a bunch of re-wiring on them but decided to find a real USGI ptt nexus style and an adapter from the 6 pin to kenwood dual pin. Idk if they need the transistor for amplified voltage or any mod for the mic - I can’t find out if it’s dynamic or electret. If anyone knows please share. I’ve heard the m91 ptt from OPSMEN is not amplified, so I suppose any non amplified ptt that’s compatible with the tp120 plug should work. When it ships in I’ll comment again to update what I learn.

Myself and 2 other instructors, including John from Warrior Poet, tried them and agree they don't work.
@@TargetAcquisition I have 3 pairs, and have used a pair for military training and competitive shooting for the last 2 years. Peltor will do you better and so will Sordins, but not at this price range, and these absolutely block out noise. Your set is probably faulty.
I tried to get those to work with a disco32 ptt, real steel ptt. The mic would not produce any sound. Any experince trying to get this to work with a disco 32 ptt?
How is the hearing protection with real steel or is this just for airsoft only.... due you recommend I need something for the shooting range to practice and also to be able to talk to my group will this protect my hearing with real rifles
so quality control has gone down the tube with this headsets. Good to know. I opted out for real protection and ended up getting some Razor slim earmuffs they have this optional communication system that can be attached to them and can be use as way to talk to team members. Look them up
i have the mod1 great set , they used to cut out while on the field but modified the battery caps with a small piece of foil to act as shims, this stopped them from turning off! something to do with duracells creating a bad contact, other than that I've had them for 4 months and there great!
Hey man I dont know if youll see this but I just picked up a set myself and they keep cutting out. Did you just put foil between the spring and the battery itself?
Got a brand new pair of the Mod 3s , out the box had loads of interference on the left ear and after awhile left side completely stopped working within 10 mins
Only seen him using Comtacs and MSA Sordins? Have any vids you can link to where he uses Earmore? Having a hard time believing he would go to cheapo protectors EDIT = Saw it on their webpage just like you say, still have not seen a single real video with him using the earmors
Well I guess I'll ask you again here then, because I can't find this info anywhere. Is there some kind of a difference between the mod 1's and mod 2's or is it a typo on the video title? This has got me reeeeeeeaally confused.
I bought a pair for myself and my son. Both failed the first time out using them for shooting real-steel. Opsmen customer service was responsive, but not very helpful and directed me to exchange the defective units with the vendor. When I received the replacements only one worked with the Opsmen PTT. I wouldn’t recommend anyone get their hopes up that these will last too long. Both pairs of my M32’s have gone to backup status and were replaced by real MSA Sordins and TEA PTT’s. Truly buy once, cry once situation for me.
I will say that when they worked, I'd put the noise cancelling and audio on par with the Howard Leight Impacts, but the fact they stopped working so quickly was a turn off for me.
I cant figure out why I the sound is super low when Im using my ptt radio.. the volume on the radio is maxed out but I cant hear almost nothing with the mod3

My Issue was these things switched off whenever a Loud noise went off, I didnt have my Radio conencted so Im not sure if Radio comms would go thru or not

Well they are not the m32s! the m32s have a sticker for branding and also the ear pads are more soft and comfortable! i happen to have both of them! i bought the first m31s as m31s and had a mic! and i bought also the m32s! that also had a mic... so i dont know what are you talking about!

Ben Anthony the cushions are exactly the same as your ear pros. Best to buy Peltor Comtacs or custom cushions

@@krijnvanbreda4718 it's not really 3 times it's more like +9 Db from what I saw on my Earmor's box, but they do amplify the sound
I think the velcro PTT is intended to be put on your BDU cuffs on the velcro adjustments perhaps.

these will work with real steel BUT!! recent batches have been pretty bad quality wise and its a shame !
