It’s pretty sad that this Walmart closed down. I remember going to this location all the time with my mom. To this day, I still don’t understand why this Walmart closed down.
At one time Walmart was one of the greatest Sears ever. It opened in 1969. They had everything. My mom worked there they took care of their employees then. That Sears had one of the best cafeteria I’ve ever eaten in. I never thought Walmart was a good fit there.
When I was a kid my mom used to take me to the sears there and I remember thinking it was the greatest thing ever. Such a huge clean store and I still remember the mcdonalds that was on the lower floor.
I used to work there but they fired me over a carry-out but I already prayed that Wal-Mart goes out of business and I was so happy that the lord made away that it shuts down.
I used to work overnight in this place and they treated people like shit im really sad they closed because alot people lose their job but they deserved it
Same thing but they fired me over a carry-out but that was stupid and I also ask God to help Wal-Mart go out of business and the lord made away that it happened.
My wife and I were in the area for work then. We shopped there on Saturday, July 28th and it was business as usual. The store was very busy. We returned one week later, August 4th, and the store was empty, 90% of the merchandise was gone, armed security guards everywhere, yellow tape, barricades, police outside, and crying employees who had not been told anything. Way to go Walmart! You SUCK
Bishop MiXumpUP we don’t need it there’s plenty of business in WP. It’s not like WP is some bumble fuck town in the mid west where there is not a store in 50 miles. There’s still a target and that structure that Walmart was in is going bye bye and making room for new buildings.

Toys r us now walmart!!!!!!
Walmart isn't out of business. Toys R Us is, but they are coming back.
In June 2018 toys “R” Us is closed in August 10 2018 Walmart store closes now and some Kone and Minnesota elevators will not longer here
I hope they gave the employees jobs at the Sam's club in Elmsford.
unfortunately i'm not sure if they did. I know that several employees I spoke to were hoping to get transferred to a New Jersey walmart.
@@MrRetidy that's a shame. NJ is far for anyone to travel for a job let alone mostly minimum wage employees.
