Milwaukee Road 261 Highball East - Independence, MN June 4, 2017 NO DIESEL!

Digging into my video archives to share some of my railroad videos from over the years.
MILW 261 is almost finished with her eastbound trip back into the Twin Cities after pulling excursions on the Red River Valley Western in June 2017. I caught 261 in Independence, MN just off U.S. Highway 12.
With a power car (boxcar) and freshly refurbished dome car on loan from the Lake Superior Railroad Museum in Duluth, 261 made her "ferry move" unassisted with the 1944 steamer performing all the honors.
