Spirit Blossom Ahri is the perfect example of how to make the character floaty and ethereal without them having to jump high and do 90 flips.
Vfx and fox tails on the new one are really nice, but I think I overall prefer the concept/execution of spirit blossom more. Especially the form changing aspect. Spirit blossom technically also has 3 forms (fox, normal, ult split form) and they feel more distinct/interesting to me.
Ignoring the ridiculous pricing, I think the Chosen Ahri skin is just too crowded. The tails are distracting and the constant weird flips (08:13) after abilities are also too much. On Spirit Blossom, those movements are way more natural and subtle and I just personally prefer the softer look it has.
THAT'S THE POINT, if you look with attention to the movements, you'll see that they are totally WEIRD

I like the smooth animations from spirit blossom better but as much as I'd like to hate on the skin, I just love how over the top and camp the immortalized legend one is. And also add to the fact that there's so much details and references to Faker aswell makes me love the skin more as an eSports fan. The price is just so fucking horrendous no video game cosmetic should even come close to that price but I won't discredit how well the people who worked on the skin did.
I love animation, and spirit blossom just has more personality. She does cute little fixes of her hair. Her tails are more fluid.

@@eujacks7888 it's cleaner because the effects are less pronounced. considering how almost all of the skins from league has the same level of intensity it's pretty average. Immortalized Ahri is still the better skin but being ridiculously priced I would've expected something more revolutionary

The only issue is that the when ahri got ASU, they didn’t fixed the legendary skins tails and ulti floating
I think the ulti one is on purpose because flying was the indicator that the ult is active and on legendary skins they transform instead

Not only that, comparing Space Groove Blitz dance and all in all emotes, watching this skin perform, specially the dance animation, is highly disappointing.

If you buy Immortalized Ahri the cute fox icons from Risen Ahri's W go away too :( You get the weird challenger icons you see in the video and Risen Ahri will be gone and overwritten by Immortalized...😢

This skin is only rare, because people don’t see the point in getting it. If I see someone who has it… I personally look at them sad, more then being impressed.

You have to pay an additional 30k for an "upgrade" and the vfx still remain the same. Such scam that you are charged with a big price for the same product. Even those 290 chromas have colour change in the recalls and some effects. Load of bull, really.
500$ ahri skin is just spinning around that even the tail is so stiff to follow her back, Spirit blossom can combo but the animation is way better and the transformation is different.
can someone explain to me the differences between all the ahri forms. does it work like kda seraphine where its a singular skin u have to play a lot to upgrade from risen to immortalized (and u can select which form u would like), or is it more like alternative legendary skins (like dawnbringer/nightbringer raka) where they are their own skins that u have to buy separately
It's more like TFT Little Legends, as in you can purchase the base form in a more "affordable" bundle but the other forms come in a 39 k and 59 k RP bundles each. Of course, if you purchase one of the lesser tiers, the upper tiers will come with that price "discount", and if you purchase the higher tiers, you'll get everything from the lower tiers.
But, as you can see from this video, what you're essentially getting from purchasing the highest tier bundle is the Faker signature, a bunch of emotes, some chromas and the skin recolors golden whenever you ult... That's kind of it at 500 USD
Spirit blossom might be ahri's smoothest skin, and with the release of this new one it still is 👌

even the voice lines are showy... Riot wants it to be so exceptionnal but its just so flashy for nothing. this skin has no lore, no interest... it could have been a skin and a prestige skin like the Aatrox one.
Such a shame riots greed means no one can get the skin. It looks like a lot of hard work went in by the designers and I think it would otherwise be my new favourite Ahri skin
Effects wise, of course the newer skin is better but for its price absolutely not. The skin is amazing they just need to reduce its price point. Spirit blossom Ahri holds up pretty well against it, but its age does naturally show. Which one I prefer? Definitely Spirit Blossom for the smoother animations and less of a mess in my screen.

Why does Ahri still do that weird hop skip after she dashes without if not followed by movement… and the tails disappear for a brief second too lol saw wild rift addressed this so came to see if this was still a thing she did, maybe they’ll fix it at some point but idk, if I recall she also had got shafted in number of color palettes, so yea there’s that also 😅

Faker Ahri has a better dance, but Spirit Blossom turns you into a literal fox when you return to base. For that reason alone, Spirit Blossom is better

I like spirit blossom more esp with chroma. The only thing i like about the new skin is thr taunt counter 😂
The only strong point the Inmortalizad Legend and Risen Legend has are the animations, and they are really good don't get me wrong but sometimes it feels... rather unnecesary? Also the dialogues are good.
Meanwhile, Spirit Blossom has a better balance. Has a good design, nice animations, 3 forms, nice dialogues that go with her skin line and nice VFX that all together feel more natural.
If you want the Faker versions because of exclusivity and because its a collectors edition, by all means, but for the price it's just not better than Spirit Blossom. It is a nice skin, but for that price you are better off getting all of the other Ahri skins.
On another note, watching this new skin perform is kind of disappointing? Specially if we compare it to skins like "Space Groove Blitzckranck" with such rich emotes that even Immortalized Legend pales in comparison.

I cant believe a supposedly "higher rank" than that of some weaker ultimate skins (sera, mf, ez), and some legendaries, has such little to LITERALLY NONE vfxs and animations differences base on each form, even seraphine's 3 forms has different vfxs and sounds, this $500 skin just straight up a rip-off, even if u're a Faker's fan. Happy I'm not an Ahri skin's collector, yikes for those who are but don't have the budget to support this scam of a skin.. can't wait to see another $500 scam next year lol
I find the cheapiest form of this new skin way better than the signature one, her tails look less crouded and more natural, and whats more is the exept the champ herself, nothing changes, i mean all her abilities are legit the same, i love their new work but as they try to make it extravagent in the signature one its just looks less better (i may buy the cheapiest one since it rly looks better than spirit blossom for me 🥰), in tye end i dnt think any one with a brain will buy that signature bundle 😐 too expensive

Spirit Blossom skin line is just overall winning the $500 dollar skin.

Talking about spirit blossom, is a wonderful skin, but it's showing the ageing, especially since it came out before the ASU and it wasn't modified afterwords, whoever says that different is delusional and they know it.

I like spirit blossom more because it has a much more solid concept, more distinct forms during her ult and homeguard animation, overall she moveslike a traditionaldancer. I also think that the animations on the new one are too overtuned: she flips after every single ability; it looks like ahri had too much coffee this morning and doesn't know what to do with her energy. Also, the vfx is kinda overwhelming with all the glow, and vfx are, again, boring, just like an overall design of a glorified espots skin. The only things I like in immortalised ahri are her tails and orb mask, but again, it's golden, it's so booooring.

Technically it is better for the price you are paying. Spirit costs like 20 vs 300 or 500 so I would expect something beyond my imagination but that is not the case. And the splash art of spirit blossom is so damn stunning. To be honest I was expecting more for the splash art. At least for that price.
