I like the way you include "View" as one of the four key indicators. That place in the North East, yeah, one of your fortified houses....I could see that being a good challenge! Can't wait!
I finally decided to build at location 8 close to the road to the bridge, my crops are closer to the mine entrance, my village square is a single tree of the forrest with some production buildings around and some houses at the road. I think it is a really beautiful location where you can push your village forward because of plenty of ressources and a flat terrain.
I'm pretty close to location 8, the view is amazing and the most important part in my biased opinion. With enough time you can build everything you need around you in any case.
One small gripe with the video: It took me 4 times of watching the video to finally notice that you show which location you're visiting with a green instead of yellow face. I'm mildly colourblind and couldn't tell the first 3 times. Any chance to make the area you're visiting more clear? Like maybe keep the one you're at green, but make the others white or something.
Cool! Location 11 would be great. But I would LOVE to see how someohne builds an actual mountain-castle with the given set of Components at the moment. So far, even simple bridges are not possible. :'D

I would like to ask you a question, but, for example, after 4 or 5 years, can the bandits attack the city? If not, I don't understand the point of fortifications. However, location 11 is truly perfect for a small kingdom.
It should be recommended to the developers, it could be an option in the customize game menu, like the transportable weight option, if you want an occasional raid you put it in, if not you leave it as it is now. The game starts with an invasion, and the character runs away to save himself and build a new life. Well I don't want an army of 200 bandits to come knocking on my gate, but at least a dozen to steal our supplies of food and materials. Also, wasn't there any talk of an update to implement armor? I hope they're not just for the coop, hopefully. @@Sean-saoi
let the dev follow their roadmap. Armor was planned, and I think it will arrive in a future update. As for the bandits, there are only 2 to 4/5 of them at most, and they're very easy to eliminate.
They had some technical problems when version 2.0.0.1 was released. These are currently being resolved (see test version 2.0.0.1a ). But I don't know why they disabled comments on their video.
@Sean-saoi thanks for the quick reply, great video by the way it definitely would help people with saving time for nice spots to build, when i first started a village last year in the old map I was placed by the waterfall on the west side of the main village and realized afterwards I wanted to be at the lake that was more center of the map. Boy, moving bases with limited materials was a bit of a pain.
Nice video and some good locaions, I ended up starting out in the first spot which seems good. One suggestion is to make the locations match by numbers instead of smily faces.
6, 10 and 12 are looking very good, though I'm a bit worried about 12. Any bears near that cave? I tried building my settlement near a cave ones, and I had constant issues with the bears lurking about. Though that was years back. Maybe they fixed it now? Either way :pray: No bears please!
There are lots of bears on the map, but in the mines you'll sometimes find wolves instead of bears. Normally, putting a building next to the mine prevents wild animals from coming in.
12 is free from bears or wolves in the build area. there are both not too far away but its across the river a little further up, so you are safe. The only downside to 12 i have noticed is the river is too shallow to fully clean yourself. so youll have to have a wash tub which animation can take awhile. otherwise its perfect. lots of flat for huge farm. cabin by the waterfall. perfect :)
Bonne vidéo, mais sa aurai été plus intéressant de mettre un chiffre à côtés des emplacements pour ensuite utiliser ce chiffre afin de montré l'endroit exact où tu visite. Car là, on doit chercher des indices autour, comme un lac, pour savoir la localisation de l'endroit que tu nous fait visité ^^'
dans les infos de la vidéo on peut accéder directement à chaque lieu d'implantation. Il y a aussi un minicarte, peu visible je te l'accorde qui indique ou nous sommes
@@Sean-saoi On ne vois que location 1 à 12 et il n'a que des bonhommes sourire sur ta carte du monde ^^' Et la mini carte, j'ai du faire un screen et zoomer x5 pour voir qu'il avait des cercles verts qui se fond parfaitement dans l'arrière plan, mais encore, impossible de savoir où tu est présentement sur la carte, où alors, je regarde mal malgré le zoom 😅
