For some reason I don't understand, I purchased a korean box with more than 20 boosters inside from Dark side of dimensions for a ridiculous low price while other European versions bring barely 3 inside. Couldn't distinguished if it was sealed by konami or by their own while opening but I was really satisfied with the find I can say, tons of blue eyes cards with an amazing artwork.
Dude i bought 8 korean lob packs from a store of my country that get those packs from ebay and i get a blue eyes, a piece from exodia , dark magician and curse of drgaon. I couldn t believe what just happened there xdD.
it depends how old you go back, as i have hundreds of boxes and sold hundreds, and have experienced sealed psv, lon boxes with promos so it is factory sealed, as well as experienced some weird stuff in my time of selling, ppl that pulled 3-4 ultras in 1 box, ppl that got no ultis, ppl that got 1st ed cards in unlimited packs and boxes 😂
Wheres a good place to buy Korean ioc, dcr, psv, lod and other goat sets like those? It was my understanding that they reprinted all the old sets recently and I would think those would come sealed as of being printed recently.
Each box having a guaranteed exodia piece isnt exactly accurate, the ratios of this set are 2 ultras per box, and its completely randomized but there are 10 ultra rares in this set and 5 of them are the pieces so you have a high chance of pulling one, i have this experience Pulling 2 Dark Magicians in one box so after that i decided to buy 5 more, 3 of them contains atleast one piece and 2 of them came in completely random, one of the box has monster reborn and gaia :V
My team and I have bought about a total of 18+ boxes so that we can complete the entire LOB set and every single LOB boxes we opened contain 1 exodia piece. But you could also be right and we just got some weird luck containing only exodia pieces. Our future videos we are gonna continue opening LOB boxes until we find a box that does not contain at least 1 exodia piece. But because of the vast numbers and a few local koreans from the community stating that, I decided to say it that piece of information. But again, I hope this doesn't come across rude, it was just information I gathered from opening and asking! Thank you for the comment!
Do you know if companies are wasting their time making knock offs? Korean booster boxes are super cheap on eBay even in the US. Most of them seem to be around $25. Just seems to good to be true. Even sellers from South Korea have them as low as $15 for a box (but then pesky international shipping charges).
$25 for a booster box is a very fair price. In korea, its even cheaper but thats because the the box is made in KR instead of shipping again to a 3rd party

Not so sure about the LOB boxes having an exodia ultra rare guaranteed. You should check "hdopened" channel. I bet he has few of these opened in his playlist, along with "watomarmelon" channel. Also, the card quality of the Korean cards is much better. They seem to be thicker and made od a single material. The special OCG sets like 20th anniversaey, rarity collection, gold series, and so on absolute kill the TCG cards in regards to holo quality.
In my own personal experience, myself and my friend has opened about 8 boxes each so that we can complete the LOB set in Korean and we have pulled an Exodia piece in each single box without fail. But don't take this the wrong way, you might be right but from getting these boxes from korean OTS and no third party seller, I felt confident in that theory! But thank you for your input!
@@jeezunluckyagain1362 you opened 8 boxes and 5/10 of the ultras are Exodia. With 2 ultras per box, theres a 75% chance a box contains 1 or 2 exodia pieces. 0.75^8=~0.10. Theres a 10% chance that you finding exodia piece in all 8 boxes purely on coincidence without any specific konami ratios.

I have a huge question. The only thing stopping me from buying Korean cards. Are 100% genuine meaning they are printed in Korea but they are the same as any other Konami printed card? Are their value also going to increase in time or not? It doesn't seen like the 1st edition Kcards are limited boxes. Is it worth the investment? In time, will all yugioh cards regardless of where there were printed or in what language (definately genuine though not fakes) be equal in value? Because we all know what the card is at first glance and what it does. If not we can google and memorize. Why should it be excluded? And another one. Are Japanese cards worth less than English cards now? If not, why are Kcards? Especially...when Korean music and movies are become so global. It. Makes. No. Sense. If anything, one would expect things from Korea to be cheaper yes...but also very valuable. Nothing makes sense to me. Please help.

I actually never got a Korean boosterbox that was sealed, be it either a new or old set. Most recent one I opened was Premium Pack Vol.17 which also wasn't sealed.
I just opened a Metal Raiders box and had two booster packs in a row containing the exact same cards in the exact same order. Is this a common thing for Korean boxes or did I fall for a fake box?

I just can’t buy any Korean Yu-Gi-Oh! Or Pokémon boxes, quality is usually pretty crappy and there’s just no value. Sure you can get more bulk since they’re cheap but I think it’s a much better investment to buy 1 English or Japanese booster box than 3/4 Korean boxes
But how can you compare og Yu-Gi-Oh TCG sets with those Korean ones? An unlimited tcg booster box until light of destruction costs at least 2000€ and those Korean ones costs all 30€ each and they guarantee 2 ultimate rares Also those Korean reprints are super cool because they left the og font on the card and the foiling too, i mean nowadays cards are super bright and have a different foiling and so are the reprints for example for the 25 anniversary Those Korean cards feels so genuine, it makes you feel you are really opening those early 2000s sets and not some modern reprint, and the price difference is just 1970€ per box

The rarity collection you'll get a few secrets, ultras, and 1 ultimate rare and the rest holos. You have a chance of getting an extra secret rare and a holographic. Rarity collection you'll get secrets which replace the ultra rare and the rest holos. You're guaranteed an ultimate rare and have a chance at an extra secret rare and holographic. Rarity collection 2020 you get an ultra and secret in every pack and the rest holos. You're guaranteed 2 extra secrets and 1 prismatic secret rare. Prismatic art collection is the same but you're guaranteed just 1 prismatic secret rare
Hi, what do you think the rate for a secret rare is? I opened 17 boxes from the old sets so far and only got 4 secrets, so it looks like a 1:4 chance to me but maybe i just got unlucky
So, the way it was explained to me by a few OTS store owners is that newer reprints of old school cards like LOB, MFC, ETC dont come seal. IF they were sold through the official tournament stores and card shops. Now, big super markets like korean version of Walmart and whatever will always third party seal their product as to reduce theft. So if you do find them seal they come from third party sources out in korea but all being produced by the same company (daewon media).
I love Korean box’s just cus they’re so cheap. But it also always feels a bit cheaty like they’re not the real deal. Guess cus they’re not worth anything
I understand what you mean, but there's always a market for everything. But one of biggest reason to collect them was to revisit my childhood memories but I have been selling a few decent cards
From a trusted a korean seller. I have one listed on ebay and I get them through OTS stores and from Daewon specifically. You can also from a seller called coupong but it might be a bit more expensive
On the box itself will have a 1st edition box. But KR is following Japanese style and not printing anymore 1st edition after a certain set. Im making a video covering all of that soon!

It depends on what you buy. Newer boxes are about $24 but older reprint ones are anywhere from 16 to 20.

Korean ones are difficult to open. I do need scissors to open them haha they don't open smoothly like the TCG version.

I recommend opening rarity collection or prismatic art collection boxes. They have great cards and you might get lucky with some good rarity
