Out of curiosity, how long does a short like this take?

over the span of 9 hours from the initial idea to finalizing the render, I think I spent like 3 of those hours animating. the longest bit to animate was actually inbetweening the breathing because the drawings were really close together. I initially wanted that bit of the animation to be on 2s and 3s but opted out to having it on 6s and 4s because I didn't wanna spend another couple hours just inbetweening drawings that were practically on top of one another. I did the dialogue at the end in about an hour in different passes. at first I just animated a floating face saying the line, then I added hair on the next pass, then the rest of the body, and finally the ponytail overlapping motion right at the end lol
