In Part 1 and Part 2, we will introduce you to 30 places where you can enjoy the spectacular autumn leaves of Mt. Fuji.
In the second part, we have collected 15 autumn leaves viewing spots relatively far from Mt. Fuji.

■Mt. Daruma Plateau ( Mid to Late November )
Mt. Daruma Plateau is located in the northern part of the Izu Peninsula at an elevation of about 620 m. It offers a luxurious view of the "sea and mountains" with Mt. Fuji, especially in the autumn.
■Osezaki ( mid to late November )
Osezaki is a peninsula jutting out into Suruga Bay from the northwestern tip of the Izu Peninsula, and has long been known as a scenic spot from which to view Mt. Fuji.
■Izu Nagahama Castle ( mid to late November )
Izu Nagahama Castle is located at the base of the Izu Peninsula is designated as a national "historic site" as a valuable pirate castle.
■Mt. Kanuki ( Mid to late November )
Mt. Kanuki is a 193-meter-high mountain at the base of the Izu Peninsula, and offers a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji from the mountainside and the summit.
■Satta Pass ( mid to late November )
Satta Pass is one of the "Three Fujimi Mountain Passes". Mt. Fuji towering over the great sea of Suruga Bay, with the JR Tokaido Main Line, National Route 1, and the Tomei Expressway passing below.
■Nihondaira ( Mid to late November )
Nihon-daira is a hilly area along Suruga Bay in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Mt. Fuji towering over Suruga Bay, and it is one of the most scenic spots in Japan.
■Ikawa Plateau Fujimi Pass ( mid to late November )
Fujimi Pass in the Ikawa Plateau is a mountain pass where visitors can enjoy trekking along a well-maintained walking trail along the ridge and view Mt. Fuji.
■Yatsugatake Nanroku (Southern Foot) Plateau ( early to late November )
The highland area stretches at the southern foot of Mt. Yatsugatake (700m-1300m above sea level) and offers a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji, the Southern Alps.
■Shosenkyo Gorge ( mid to late November )
Shosenkyo Gorge has been selected as one of the "100 best autumn leaves viewing spots in Japan. The "Panorama-dai" offers a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps in the far distance.
■Ryumonkyo ( Early to late November )
Ryumonkyo is a hiking course with an easy walking trail along the mountain stream and a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji and the autumn leaves.
■Mt. Iwadono-san ( early to late November )
Iwadono-san is a 634-meter-high mountain located in the eastern part of Yamanashi Prefecture near Otsuki City. It is known as a mountain with a spectacular view of Mt. Fuji.
■Mt. Takao ( mid to late November )
Mt. Takao is a 599-meter-high mountain in the Tama region of Tokyo. The summit of Mt. Takao offers a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji to the southwest.
■Rokudoyama Park ( Mid-November to early December )
Rokudoyama Park is a forest park located in the northern part of Tokyo and is one of the best viewing spots of Mt. Fuji in Tokyo.
■ Lake Tama ( Mid-November to early December )
Lake Tama is an artificial lake built on the Sayama Hills in Higashiyamato City, Tokyo. Mt. Fuji can be seen from the northeast shore.
■Lake Sayama ( Mid-November to early December )
Lake Sayama is an artificial lake located adjacent to the northwestern part of Lake Tama. Mt. Fuji can be seen from the northeastern shore on clear days.

比較的近場で山中湖白糸の滝 伊豆の旅は楽しんでおりましが、こんなに目を見張る景色はやはり富士山は日本一です。
山中湖近くの向日葵畑からの富士山をバックに家族で写真撮影した思い出が懐かしいです。
