I think I figured out why the vocal editing works so well here (and other GS songs, too, but it's really distinct here). They don't use it to smooth things over but to mess them up. In a way, they're doing with Hana's voice what a guitar amp does with a guitar: compress and distort it. Which, in a heavy song like this one, just makes it rock harder.
This is definitely one of my all-time favourite tracks from GS - has the older electro sound but they keep on updating it as you heard on the live version. P.s. I did send a link to the live version from the Music Battler era but not sure if you saw it. The recent live one has become my favourite though, adding in Hana’s growl over Angie’s rap, plus Oreo just looks total fire whilst shredding on the keys 🔥

Honestly, that's one of the things I absolutely love (and also kind of hate) about the band. Even if it's an older song, they find some way to change it up and make it interesting. You don't have as much time to get fully used to a song sounding a certain way I guess. I'll often get used to hearing the live version of a song and then I end up listening to the studio version and I just end up being a little bit disappointed every time since I expect stuff that isn't there. Like Tamashii from 2019. I hear that on spotify or whatever and I just want to go "WOH! WOH! WOH! WOH!" with Koga but it's not there. ☹ ..I also just learned that was like a "B-side" to the single of Don't Let Me Down. That's just crazy to me.
At least for me, this is one of the classic Koga bass groove songs. It is hard to sit still when you hear it. Hana with blue hair playing drums while singing, and Oreo doing her kicks behind the keyboard are also iconic. I love both line-ups. Koga did an instagram live some time ago with a guy doing translations. There seems to be at least a possibility of live performances outside of Japan, but as with many bands, a US trip seems more likely than European dates. I really hope they can do both. I'm not sure how much significance it has, but Gacharic Spin joined Nippon Crown recently which is Band-Maid's former label and B-M did a lot of European touring when they were with Nippon Crown. I'm probably just looking for a sign of hope, but I'll keep optimistic that we will be able to see them some time.
The relentless groove of Koga's bass-line in this song really gets the heart racing! I also love all those weird sycopations and hits in the 2nd verse, and the interlude and solos are so great!

FCK is for F Chopper Koga. She's got her own signature stuff from Vellmor and you can see it on her other basses. No idea if this is a Vellmor, I'm clueless really. And yes, that's Hana who moved from drums to guitar when Yuri came in as a drummer. Because why not? And, yes, Yuri is the new permanent drummer. She's missing in some of the newer videos/concerts since she went on maternity leave and they either had Hana in some stuff like the Mindset MV and a backup drummer called Levin in some others and in concerts during that time. And since you mentioned confidence in the straps, if you happen to spot tape on the guitars in future videos, this is why. When you're spinning the guitars around, you don't really want the straplocks to fail, so better safe than sorry I suppose ;D I do love the band live, anyone can dance around and do silly stuff in a music video, it's a whole other thing to do it live when you actually do have to play the right thing and make it sound good. You don't really see Gacharic Spin have any songs where they just go through the motions in a "Lets just get through this old song that people like and they want us to play but we don't really feel like it" kind of way. Song is more simple than newer stuff? More time for running around and doing crazy shit to entertain the crowd!

My excitement for Gacharic Spin's upcoming album is so high right now. After Kachi-kachi Yama, they released another new song on Saturday: "The Come Up Chapter". It's a bit early to call it my favourite song by them, but it might be, and Kachi-kachi Yama might be second. As for this song, well... I'm still allergic to autotune... but otherwise I would like it a lot. It's one I already knew though.
