hot damn
wow
Sounds so good. What tape did you use?
masking tape
for this build, did you use the top mount or the gummy o ring mount? have you tried both? which one do you like more?
i used o ring mount. i do like using o ring mount more than top mount
Does the force tape affect sound at all? Like does it make it clackier, or does it only prevent hollowness?
it removed a slight hollowness sound from the spacebar but it was pretty negligable. I Opted to stop using it because it made the board more hollow when i used it with a carbon fiber plate
@@failedzI have the same setup as this video and my board sounds pretty dull. Did it sound dull on your end too? I ordered a CF plate after watching your other sound test so I’m hoping the CF plate can do this board justice
@@JesusXina cf plate really brings out the boards sound and demolishes the pc plate in comparison
@@failedz that’s really reassuring. My cf plate is getting delivered on the 23rd so I’m pretty excited. I have a question, is there a clear difference in sound when changing mounting styles? I really want to have a louder clack, so I was guessing oring would be the best option. What do you think?
@@JesusXinaDoes the carbon fiber plate help the board sound better?
how much are these broken in?
1 and a half years of daily use
@@failedz sheeesh
you prefer this or the sonnet?
i prefer the tomo
