Earth Day Celebration in the Basque Country

On April 22, a series of local organisations & Billabong gathered for a celebration of Earth Day in the Basque Country.
Kicking-off with a coastline cleaning session followed by a tree-seed planting moment, the event witnessed 150 attendees answering the call to contribute and support the local action led by Endika and Arantza Prieto, together with the Acero Surf eskola, La Salbaje Surf Eskola, Txelupo and host Moana Eco Surf house .
As a result, beyond the amazing human connection & return to post-CoVid vibes while respecting social distancing & health measures ; over 40 bags of trash were collected and 189 trees planted for an overall success for Mother Nature.
