Worst to Best: Batman Villains (Tier list)

- Since Batman will always be my all time favorite comic book hero of all time. I thought it would be nice to share my tier list style ranking of the majority of his villain's he has faced over the years.

Finally a Batman villain tier-list that isn't about movie adaptations.
My top 10 villains:
1. Two Face
2. Killer Croc
3. Bane
4. Joker
5. Poison Ivy
6. Scarecrow
7. Riddler
8. Mad Hatter
9. Mr. Freeze
10. Penguin

Scarecrow is my favourite villain and I like him more than Joker even though I know Joker is objectively the better villain, so I’m happy to see how high you ranked him. Most people just see him as the guy who scares people with hallucinations but he’s so much more than that.

I loved how Batman Arkham Knight portrayed Scarecrow. Easily my favorite interpretation of him
I only disagree with riddler. Batman has been on record in comics saying that Edward is his smartest adversary, and that’s a terrifying power to wield against Batman. It makes a lot of his schemes very deadly, and his potential through the roof.
The characters you didn’t know in order were Falcone, Clock King and Professor Pig

If you’re ranking your favorites, have at it. Place them wherever you like. But if you’re ranking them in terms of how dangerous they are to Bruce, I don’t think this is totally accurate… I mean Black Mask became the kingpin of Gotham, being the first to unite all the gangs in Gotham since Falcone. Batman and his entire batfam at the time weren’t able to stop him. Then Red Hood comes along, and for a good minute, he’s a step ahead of both Batman and Black Mask. Sure Bruce can take him in a fist fight, but Jason’s no slouch there either. To be fair, Red Hood is much more often an antihero than a villain (he has an opportunity to blow Bruce to smithereens in the comic Under the Red Hood, but doesn’t because he still sees him as a father).

For my favorite Batman Villains I go like this:
1. Joker
2. Harvey Dent/Two Face
3. Ra's Al Ghul
4. Mr. Freeze
5. The Riddler
6. The Pengüin
7. Scarecrow
8. Bane
9. Harley Quinn
10. Poison Ivy
I do like Selina Kyle/Catwoman. But I have a bit of a hard time accepting her as a villain. She is at best an antihero in my honest opinion.
The pig guy in 14:49 is professor pyg
He was that guy in Batman arkham knight who hang dead bodys and put them up around the city in his side mission trying in his words to make them perfect and beautiful forever
As a Batman villains to others I say he above black mask or top of C tear but he is a sick monster
The first guy is Carmine Falcone (slightly lame mob boss) and the second one is Clock King, who's usually seen as a Green Arrow villain.
@@alexkunce2002Carmine Falcone isn’t necessarily lame but he doesn’t have any super defining traits. He’s a bit more basic and doesn’t stick out as much compared to Penguin and Black Mask.
Would've liked to see your ranking of just your favorite. Not factoring in the dangerousness of them neccessarily

- Two Face
- Bane
- Deathstroke
- Red Hood
- Owlman
- The Batman Who Laughs
Riddler portrayed by Jim Carrey literally destroyed the character from the comics.

I personally enjoyed Jim Carrey's performance, and I grew up watching the movie 'Batman Forever'.

@@BlazerK1914 Geo do not feel ashamed about Batman Forever I am the same way. I enjoyed Carrey's Riddler and Batman Forever was not only the first Batman Film I ever say in theatres I would still keep it in my top 5 favorite batman films despite its flaws. There is alot of great idea in the film that most people don't even notice and the fact that I can see them make feel like that film is more for me.

Batman being a fully human character, most of his adversaries will be written to provide the audience with more than just physical feats for content. Therefore i feel like its kind of an injustice to rank the villians in a "best to worst" solely off of how much physical danger they can put Batman in. The psychological toll that being a hero in Gotham has put on Batman is arguably the biggest part of his character and story, so the villians who have contributed to that deserve more credit in pure deviousness, even if they cant out punch Batman. This ranking system is kinda flawed
The Riddler and Scarecrow both have to be S tier for me, because of their sheer intellectual skill. They are geniuses, masters of planning, and there are an infinite number of stories you can tell using them (maybe even together).
I would have put poison ivy higher because of how strong her powers are
You forgot about killer Crocs tragic past, I think that should’ve been enough to at least keep him in B
Man cmon, croc is so in depth and batman even feels bad for him
Clay face and riddler should be much higher
Joker, Scarecrow, Bane, Riddler, and Two-Face, (HM) Batman who laughs and court of owls are my favorites. Every Batman villains are great in whatever interpretations we see in movies, comics, the animated series, tv shows, and games.
You should do Spider-man villains tier list. You don't have to if you want.

The motivation is the most brutal and interesting in any villain (and no, no is money, he use the money like trash) the fact of his entire life fighting even when he never received any kind of love '"since birth" even of his own mother and beaten senseless by his father...is absolutely brutal
@Sr.Green. Hush's motivation is that he didn't inherit his parent's money cuz Thomas Wayne saved one of them after he tried to kill them... that's it. It doesn't get more shallow and pathetic than that
@@verity_amo No, it's not like that, in fact if you read hush returns, hush is offered five million and he rejects the money, money never mattered to him
Hush reproaches Bruce for the freedom that money gave him in Batman Hush, not the money itself. Hush hates Bruce for abandoning him and because he always had all to be free and the wayne ruin his entire life saving his mother.
Hush's motivation is that while he had to fight to live from his birth, Bruce always had everything even the love of his parents, Hush no.
He takes the inheritance as a form of freedom after murdering his mother who disinherits him for dating Peyton Riley (something that for Marla Elliot was dishonorable since she was from a criminal family)
I feel croc should be higher, if you do more research into the character
