This is one of my favorite recurring sketches from that era of SNL. Jason Sudeikis dancing in the red tracksuit cracks me up every time. And that is absolutely Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad.
That just proves how great an actor Morgan Freeman is. All skits are rehearsed before Saturday Night Live airs live, so there's no way that it's a real reaction from him. I've watched SNL from the day it began, and this is one of my favorite series of skits. The whole Lindsey Buckingham gag is a delight to this Fleetwood Mac fan.

One of the greatest SNL skits of all time. I have been watching Kenan Thompson since I was a kid on All That and Kenan & Kel. He is a national treasure.
Same here. I haven't watched SNL for years, but I do he was on here. I just decided to do a search of his skits on snl, and ran into this. I would have watched SNL just to see the skit LOL
Ernest borgnine is legitimately a comedy legend on a whole nother level well before my time in the conversation of names with Andy Griffith and Jerry Stiller I always thought that the joke here it's like what if James Brown hosted a show and couldn't stop from breaking out into the song all the time so much so that you never actually get the interview conducted it's hilarious
Ernest Borgnine was actually most known for being a great serious actor and receiving an Oscar for best actor and being the oldest ever at the time. He was also very funny and played in the TV show McHales Navy and was the clown every year for the "Great Circus Parade" (from Milwaukee), which started the year I was born in 1972 and ran until 2002. I was born and have lived in Milwaukee WI since 1972. Ernest (born Ermes Effron Borgnino) was revered for his role as the clown!
The What's Up With That with Samuel L. Jackson had to be censored for the West Coast :-) Also the What's Up With That featuring the REAL Lindsay Buckingham is great too. :-)
What Up With That, Celebrity Jeopardy, and anything with Stefon or Herb Welch were my favourite SNL bits. This series of sketches is so perfect, the utter confusion and anger on the guests faces is hilarious. Kenan is a great star for it as well. Also, Ernest Borgnine having the time of his life on this one is amazing, he looks like he's having a blast!
100% Bryan Cranston,he was the host that week. Notice he's wearing tighty whities,an homage to his Walter White character and the pilot episode of Breaking Bad.
This is right up there with Celebrity Jeopardy for me! Those two series are my favorite things to come out of SNL next to Adam Sandler! Thanks for doing this and I hope you do more of them!
@@johnathanmartin1504 I was in College in Atlanta (Georgia State) right before the first Austin Powers movie came out and Mike Myers was going to be at Planet Hollywood - so my friend and I decided to leave class (before it started) so we could go meet him. I was in my early 20s (I’m now 49) and it is STILL one of the highlights of my life!!
My mom was a school lunch lady for over 30 years and up through high school she would bring home the extra lunches knowing my friends and i would finish them off. We especially looked forward to those rectangle pizzas.
The one with Samuel L Jackson is pretty great as well. This era was so fun and creative. There are tons of suggestions I could give you. But simply, just look up SNL breaking character for some of the best laughs on RUclips.
Ernest was my childhood tv stars .. Co Starred in AIRWOLF one of the top tv series in my book back in the day .. and the writer of AIrwolf wrote or co wrote some other major series like Magnum, P.I., Quantum Leap, JAG, NCIS,Tales of the Gold Monkey.
I wanted to meet earnest Borgnine so very much. He was like my celebrity uncle. When I saw this live my heart leapt out of my chest as I thought for a brief moment I was going to hear Earnest talk for the first time on screen since I was a little boy. But of course, that was apart of the joke. As the host spends the entire time performing the intros and Segways. Despite having my hopes crushed, I still laughed my butt off.
The "what's up with that" episode featuring Mike Tyson is hilarious. Iron Mike was honestly getting upset because he had no idea what was going on. These are great skits. Love to see you react to the iron Mike edition though
I actually love this skit!!! The last time I saw "Lindsey Buckingham" in anything is in the "We are the World" video! P.S. Gotta love the look and dance moves of Jason Sudeikis as well!
'What's Up With That' is an one of the funniest running SNL skits… You definitely got to react to the other ones! Some of the other guests of his show were Samuel L. Jackson, Bill O'Reilly, and Al Gore… 😅😂🤣
I love your reactions!! I’ve come to the conclusion that you’re either a great actor or you’ve spent your entire life in your home, with no tv or any other outside contact, other than an occasional family get together.
After this skit was done for the first time, anyone who appeared in it KNEW what was going to happen! Constant interruption with the same song over and over. Nice singing, Keenan!
I absolutely love this skit! Please do more of them. And please check out anything Bill Hader did on SNL, the guy is an excellent impressionist, and is hilarious. By the way, he is Lindsey Buckingham in the skit.
Oh snap! Just left a comment saying to check this out, looked for reactions to it to appease my boredom and what do you know? You got to it! Nice. There are so many of these that are amazing! Edit: lord you didn't disappoint. I knew you'd enjoy these. There are so many stars that come on to these as well, desirous, Robin Williams and the list goes on, please, please, PLEASE, check out more. One love from St. Louis and be well brother.
You are right! I can clearly remember being 5 or 6 and learning about pizza not long before that, and mom coming home one night with a pie from the local shop. But the pie was round, and the slices were triangles. I did not like triangle pizza, only rectangular!
All these sketches are tried on a live audience first before the real "Live " show. None of the actors are surprised, unless someone losses face, messes up, or does something so physical, it jars a crack in the rest of the cast. Freeman is just that good at acting pissed or indignant.
I love this sketch. Great reactions. Morgan definitely knew all that was going on. If he was ambushed or tricked, he might have spoken where it wasn't scripted and thrown everyone else off. yes, he was starting to say solid stuff but he did get some in!
hello mr l boyd i know you’ll probably never see this comment but if u do i just wanted to say your reactions and comments are always thoughtful, funny and engaging. i appreciate the time you put into each vid. i particularly love your reactions to twenty one pilots songs. just like you they aren’t just surface level entertainment, they go deep with their lyrics and music videos. i hope you react to more of them soon. much love💙🤘🏽
Dave Chappell-Tupac Is Still Alive. They in a Club & Everybody Dancing To Tupac & He Starts Rapping about Stuff That’s Recent & Saying It’s 1994. So Funny, Check It Out🔥🔥🔥
In highschool, you could get that pizza every day. I ate it so often that by my sophomore year, it made me sick just to look at. Even the smell made me nauseous.
This is one of my favorite recurring sketches from that era of SNL. Jason Sudeikis dancing in the red tracksuit cracks me up every time.
And that is absolutely Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad.
It's the way that Sudiekis just *flies* into frame every time, like he has a mini-trampoline off the side of the stage.
Jason's dancing in these sketches is my favorite. 👍🍻
That is in fact Bryan Cranston, from breaking bad. And Malcolm in the middle, his magnum opus.
Always in tighty walter whities
One of my favorite skits. So silly and so much going on. I love it.
I like when they get the real Lindsay Buckingham! Lol 😂
I just love that Ernest Borgnine isn't even attempting to hide his reaction.
I know right, lol 😂

This is a GREAT series of sketches!!! Keep going down this rabbit hole!!!
welcome to my most favorite SNL sketch of all time lol the absolute absurdity of this sketch EVERY TIME is the greatest thing 🤣
Ernest borgnine is legitimately a comedy legend on a whole nother level well before my time in the conversation of names with Andy Griffith and Jerry Stiller
I always thought that the joke here it's like what if James Brown hosted a show and couldn't stop from breaking out into the song all the time so much so that you never actually get the interview conducted it's hilarious
Well, we outta time… but we learned SO much. 😂
That pretty much sums it up … but it is more James Brown mixed with church reverend (think Coming to America.)

I never did understand the premise of this sketch but yeah, late night talk show (normal) + James Brown (crazy) what would that look like. Classic!
Yes! That is Bryan Cranston form "Breaking Bad". The What Up With That featuring Robin Williams and Robert DeNiro is also good.
The What's Up With That with Samuel L. Jackson had to be censored for the West Coast :-) Also the What's Up With That featuring the REAL Lindsay Buckingham is great too. :-)

My Man! Kate McKinnon and Alien Abductions! You will lose it!🤣

Herb Welch was great..
the older I get, the more I identify with Herb
Yea thats Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad and Morgan Freeman absolutely rehearsed this skit at least once.
Morgan Freeman breaks character at the very end when Bryan Cranston struts up to him again and he starts laughing.
100% Bryan Cranston,he was the host that week. Notice he's wearing tighty whities,an homage to his Walter White character and the pilot episode of Breaking Bad.
Ernie Borgnine is famous from a couple sitcoms in the late 60s/70s, but is an Oscar winning actor. Academy award for "Marty", (1955). He died in 2012.
This is my fave sketch ever on SNL. Its just... so ridiculous.
My favorite sketch !!! Keep going on these!!

I've seen bryan Cranston in tighty whities in 3 different shows
I have been watching these skits all week. I can't stop singing: Ooooo weee, what's up with that"
The rectangular pizza was AWFUL. I will die on this hill

Don't know if anyone's suggested it yet, but I'd also recommend the Celebrity Rock N Roll Jeopardy skit, also featuring Connery
Oh the great Kenan Thompson. I grew up with him on All That on Nick and he is showing why he is the longest tenured SNL cast member.
-We learned so much about education.
-We learned nothing..
Yes! Keep doing these! What's up with that?
Oh man loving this SNL journey :D
At my school there was one line for normal lunch and one line for rectangular pizza. I was in the pizza line every day.
This series gets funnier with every sketch.
You were right the first time. That IS the guy from Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston. He does stuff like this all the time :D
The breadtangle of pizza was the beeest

The movie Morgan and Ernest were in, RED, is a lot of fun. If you haven't seen it please feel free to review and share that with us.
The rectangular pizza I had was burned on the top and Doughie on the bottom.

Friday was the Best Day because Rectangle Pizza.
It's SNL breh, he's acting for sure.
Borgnine sounds like a Star Trek NG character. The host Keenan Thompson is the Best . They tried to wear out this skit but I loved every one.
The only thing better than the rectangular pizza was the taco boat.
I'm over 50 and I still dream of our schools rectangle pizza... Their spaghetti and meat sauce was really good too....
