I don't know if that's the best lure or not, but it's sure working for me. But, I need variety. What do y'all think I should try next?

I think thats the first flounder I saw you catching, and I said to myself as soon as you identified it, "Oh I bet he's kicking himself about the icechest now" lol. Great video as always @catchyalater

Ha, yep. But I've caught flounder there a few times now... now I just gotta find time to go back (with an ice chest).

I enjoy your calm narrative more than any other fishing videos I subscribe to. I would like to watch you use the Deep South straight tail, a wake bait, top water frogs at the right time of year, unweighted flukes over grass beds can be exciting for sure. Keep up your great research.

Thanks Blaine. That means a lot to me. Great suggestions as well, I can promise a top water frog video in late march. It's one of my favorite ways to catch reds. Need to find some grass for those other ideas though, this lack of rain we've had has made finding that almost impossible.

I agree. So many people think yelling at the camera is the thing to do. His narration is great and reminds me of Jim Nantz at Augusta.

🤣 I can't believe I caught a bass in that water. It was as salty as beach water.

I used the cocoho minnows years ago in the St. John’s river during fall and winter, almost triple slam all the time, trout, reds and flatties love it!

Yes indeed. Man I have said it a few times but I just found a pack of these in a storage room twenty years ago. Amazing how well they work.

I also found using it Carolina rigged works well especially if you’re using a stick type sinker over oyster beds.
