It's now on Spotify, and I'm so happy! The song was once on Spotify (It was called "Mississippi" though), and it was one of my favorite songs of any artist, and suddenly was removed, along with his other song "Tiny Fires," which I absolutely love too and still miss a whole lot.
This live version needs to be released. Blows the studio one out the water.
Agreed! Tiny Fires on Mahogany is so so good too. Both songs have been on repeat in my mind. Even when I close my eyes for bed I hear this first song. That woman's vocals are beautifully matched to his and it definitely adds some authenticity to the song ❤

Im glad I stumbled upon this. One Mississippi has been on repeat in my mind for about a week. Even when I close my eyes for bed I hear it. That woman's vocals are beautifully matched to his and it definitely adds some depth and authenticity to the song which isn't there on the recorded version ❤ I wish I could buy these songs from Mahogany. They always do music right.
I’ve listened to One Mississippi so many times I’ve lost count. I’ve never ever heard a song that just makes me feel that way, from the lyricism to the guitar to the harmonization... wow. I’m gonna listen to this song till the day I die. One of the best songs ever.
The first song took all of my attention and I wasn't ready for the second one... lol... beautiful song... and that opening video frame is something else, what a nice footage... Also, the way that he crosses the screen and then she is on the focus is a great camera movement. I don't know the reasons for some artists to have 2 songs in the same video and others don't. Anyway, imo, I would prefer to enjoy them separately. Great job!
