- Protests continued in hundreds of cities across the country Tuesday as demonstrators demanded the three other officers involved in the death of George Floyd be charged. Most were peaceful, but scenes of police escalation played out in many cities, causing protesters to scramble for safety. In Charlotte, protesters found themselves trapped by police who fired tear gas from both ends of the street, blocking their escape. Police said they had earlier been pelted with rocks and bottles. #InsideEdition

This has gotten out of hand, and I think even the protests should stop as well, as it gives plenty of smokescreen for the criminals that Democrats let out of prison.

@@SizzaE60 I went to a Black Lives Matter protest in Maryland, and nobody was being violent. The police stood by, in normal gear, and watched. No need for tear gas, no need for shooting people. My friend went to a protest in Washington D.C. It was also a completely peaceful protest. The National Guard (sent by Trump) began beating up and pepper-spraying people, some of whom were sitting on the floor. This isn't a question of whether protestors "break the law". It's a question of how the police want to respond.

I do however see countless examples of rioters beating, killing, and looting store owners for defending their store from them. Plus the cop who go shot by a looter. Plus the truck driver who got beat for driving on the highway. Plus the kid dying in the building after they set it on fire.

I live in Asheville, NC and the sound of the officers shooting the tear gas is terrifying. Last night a curfew was put in place. People stayed 3 hours past it and nothing really happened- but it was still scary to watch.
