Back in JP, the playerbase was on high moon over this final arc. So, we were all wondering what the 2nd anniversary fes character will be. BA had been pretty under the radar popularity speaking and it really needed a boost of relevance at some point. So, when they dropped the Mika announcement, I fell out of my chair for joy. For the first time in long time, we get the desired NPC so quickly. Thus, this is why Mika was considered the turning point for BA on the global stage.
Woah, she had a lot bigger of a role on the levels of importance than I expected! I’m glad that she came out super quick for everyone~ Must have been quite something to experience!

I didn't join until Mika became available. I remember getting her when I had no idea who she was lol.
So to keep track, Mika:
Broke out of jail with physical force.
Was fought back by Squad.
Defeated multiple Arius units without so much as a scratch.
BRUTE FORCED her way through a changing labyrinth.
Easily defeated Saori in a 1v1.
Fought a large army of ghost nuns led by an even more powerful ghost saint nun.
Misono "I'm a lot stronger than I look XD" Mika.
She's the true last boss! jkjk

This is the chapter that made me Saori my favorite Blue Archive character, or perhaps the Best character from every video game.
Some games poorly writes the story of the 'bad guys' turning into 'good guys' in the way of making them having a tragic backstory, but they sometimes forgets what those characters have done in the past and just goes on with it.
But, even though Saori had a tragic backstory, she didn't blamed everything on madam.
She accepted that her actions in the past was wrong and she even said she was responsible for everything and that she will do what is right for herself.
The way she accepted her guilt made me love her so much and I really hope that she and the rest of the crew will find happiness in the near future.
Yes! 100% yes! Saori’s road of redemption doesn’t just end with her saving Atsuko! It ends when she herself can accept herself and mature from this experience, helping those who may have gone down a similar path as herself. She seriously would make a great teacher once she matures and becomes an adult! Ah, I wish we could see the future where she does teach or mentor those around her. That would be such a great circle of life type of thing!

There is an analysis I like, that Misaki's su1cida1 temper is an extreme way of portraying her weakness and making others acknowledge and care for her. It's messed up, but there are people who do that in real life. Misaki may be the cynical brain of Squad, but at the core she is another fragile and wounded child. That's why I think Saori entrusting Squad to her was to make sure she doesn't jump off again. With other people to take care of she can no longer give up on a whim.
Btw I may be late, but before you get to Chapter 2 part 2 you may need to check out the Decagrammaton event part 1. It talks about the essential lore you need to know, and the main story kinda passed over those information.
I can see that being the case actually! That would make sense too. I'll see if I can remember or if someone reminds me or else I might end up going straight to it when the time is closer since I forget easily!
Actually yeah, the first few chapters of decagrammaton are the canon first meeting with Eimi and Himari, the third last part are spoilers of volume 2 part 2, but that's because decagrammaton was a special case, we got bits of pieces from the decagrammaton event from time to time, because it's an event to explore the lore, I don't remember since when it's a spoiler for volume 2, I'll check it and pass it on discord later
I'm pretty sure this chapter was the one that locked in the meme of Nagisa bringing her chair everywhere she goes. Which is especially funny given that by the time she was added to the gacha she was given new artwork of her standing without the chair, but it was too little too late.

Glad you had fun with the story. As for that final scene between Saori and Haruka, you can see the prelude to it in the ministories if i am not wrong.
As far as leveling goes the real struggle comes after level 60 or if you try to build too many characters at the same time, in particular if they are all of the same school. You are probably at the point where you should pick 3 teams, one for each color, and start focusing on them, so when you reach Volume F you don't get walled out.
Woah, there are preludes to it in the mini stories?!? I should really check them out one day~
The group stories contain the funniest bits of the story so far
I dont know what mde me cry more, Saori's redemption, Mika holding back Beatrice reinforcement, or the dreaded words "I pull out my credit card"
This entire volume not only introduced me to new characters that I love, but it also made me see characters I already knew in a different light. It really cemented Hina as one of my favorite characters, and it both made me hate but then understand Saori. All this from a chapter that starts off about helping four failing students pass their exams.
1:54:55 I also knew from playing the 0068 event that Saori was aware of PS 68, so seeing this was how she first saw them is just too funny
I think it was just a combination of everything. Each time we get over one emotion, it comes back like a wave when the next scene hits the game! Truly a powerful wave of emotions to experience in a single Volume!

Mika sings it because she wants Squad to be shown mercy and forgiveness. But I think deep down Mika accepts that she is not beyond mercy or forgiveness as well. And the song's message is so antithetical to everything Beatrice stands for, that Mika singing it throws the Madame into a fit of rage.
I gotta say that seeing the Madame going into a fit of rage just from Mika singing was quite hilarious in its own right! haha I loved it~
Fun fact regarding the Arius girls... Misaki in her momotalk slowly finds things worth living for, like getting angry you gave her something for lil kids (her liked gifts include a teddy bear wich is funny, she loves childish stuff but hates when people know)

This trully made my day better! glad to see you play trhoug one of the best story arcs of BA, all the groth from chapter one to the epiloge and twists and turns and a great climax and character resolutions, this is why I stayed and kept going... Also Asuna from C&C...
YES! I also want PS68 to "adopt" Saori, they shared an event not long ago I hope it has a rerun soon for you to see how well they work together!

well here's some Trivia. Suzumi was meant to be trinity traitor but they needed someone to be in make-up club so they made Azusa they even share the same blank face. Saori sense of responsibility is reflected on her sub skill for every squad member/or former member(Azusa ) in the team Saori damage will increase .since Saori Raised Azusa, they almost have the same ex skill (doing critical damage she really trained her to kill). Azusa's halo resemble oliver branch
I knew that Suzumi was supposed to be the traitor, but I didn’t realize that her skill also reflected that and still does! that’s pretty cool!
It is required to spend AP to level up, progress on mission to unlock more gameplay content. You said people told you don’t level skills, but their advices are for enjoying endgame content, if you only came for story, you can build the team however as you like because they won’t be used anyway.
Oooo, perfect, then I’ll just do that since I don’t care for endgame content~!
Finally the end of the Eden Treaty!
I feel like I was learning a lot even though we're on the sensei's PoV
I learned the value of trusting others, yet not how to trust people blindly
I learned to keep moving forward, even if it means nothing. The act itself has a meaning to it
I learned to yearn for happiness, even if I think I don't deserve it
Lastly, I learned how to forgive another and how to forgive myself
Very important lessons! They might seem simple, but in actuality, it’s very difficult for people in general to embrace and live by those lessons!
Good to see u enjoyed Eden treaty, its by far my favorite chapter outside of *REDACTED* and i hope ur gonna have fun with Rabbits and the other one before the last chapter

I like that sensei despite being a normal chill teacher his life lessons hit pretty hard, Beatrice feeds on the student's hatred while sensei wants to free them out of it so that they can live without regrets, we need more people like him 😭

1:39:48 I didn't catch this before but what did Mika mean by saying she always bullied Koharu?
I'm not entirely sure, but it seems to imply that she didn't treat Koharu that well? That's just my guess though.
The only bullying I can think of is throughout Ch.2 Mika always thought of Koharu as the insignificant one in the Make-up Work Club. At the start she said that any other JTF member would've been fine and at the finale she didn't even entartain the idea that Koharu could be the wrench that ruined her plan
