Syekh Yusuf Al-Makassari is an Indonesian scholar and national hero who has fought against Dutch colonialism. He is also often referred to as Sheikh Yusuf Abu Mahasin Hadiyatullah Taj al-Khalawati al-Makassari or Tuanta Salamaka ri Gowa, which means "Our Great Teacher from Gowa. He was sent by the Dutch and exiled in South Africa and succeeded in spreading Islam in Africa. the name macassar is taken from the place of its bitterness

No matter where you put Muslims you can't kill their imaan, you cant put out the light of Islam in our hearts! Soldiers in Guantanamo Bay who first hand witnessed how strong the faith of Muslims is even in such hardships Muslims would still do their prayers 5 times a day and this had affected some of the soldiers guarding those Muslims that they started to find out what Islam really was and converted to Islam

We should remember that we've always had a good relationship with Muslims, and Christians are a majority in South Africa and Cape Town. Growing up I've always seen Christians and Muslims praying together in hospitals, on the street or funerals. I've even heard of Priests recalling Muslims coming to Church during Christmas in honour of the baby Jesus and attending funerals and Christians doing likewise by visiting Mosques.
What is threatening these relationships are not internal affairs but outside influence, be it West or East.
Our call to Life is to draw closer to God while we can. Mine is to draw close to Jesus and His teachings and to wait on God. I pray that Cape Town and the rest of South Africa will continue to live in harmony with one another. Amen

The Message of Islam is The Message of All The Messengers to Humanity, first to final , on Whom be Peace , The Message from The One Eternal Transcendental Universal All Creator , Alone Worthy of Worship , Unto Whom All Belong & All Return , to account . Those who accept The Message & are Doers of Good , will Be in Paradise , the warning is Do Not take partners unto The Almighty , That is the worst sin , that leads to hell .... Jesus is Not God !

Islam doesn't mean peace, It means To submit and Muslim means one who submits linguistically. Also historically Islam was in Southern Africa long before hence Mozambique git its name from the islands named after the chief called Musa bin baiq, the Portuguese inturn couldn't pronounce it correctly and it ended up as we call it today Mozambique.

Only the northern part of Mosambique close to Tanzania , Zanzibar and Comores were areas where Muslims were not central or southern mosambique. That was part of the Swahili coast-arab trading routes . first Muslims of the Southern parts are the Cape ones and the fact that it still stands is a testimony to history.
