Amazing Job! I had a blue ‘85 Californian as kid. Thank you for sharing the build process. Some of my best memories were spent with that bike. Today’s bikes don’t match the energy of the 80’s bmx scene.

I would do a light sand on the old seat to restore the original colour then polish and seal it up with clear. Now I will shut up and see the rest of the video.

Nice build, however, your stem, brakes, wheels, pegs, chain and pedals are incorrect. The Stem should be the SR MS-423. The rims should be Pro Class Series 3 Hard Anodized. The pegs should be Skyway. The chain should be two tone silver and black. The brakes should be Lee Chi not Dia-Compe with Lee Chi Tech 3 levers. The front should be an MX 900 and the back should be an MX 1000. The pedals should be SR MP-470. Cru also didn't have the Californian decal. The pads should be plain red with yellow tape. Again, great build but a "replica" should have the same parts. I'm a huge fan of the channel, and I only mean to help.
