I know this is an older video, but I'm so glad you did this. I love that you showed the entire process and didn't skip through. For those of us who really want to know how much effort, it is good to see each step. We are hoping to go out of town for a few days and I have a hard keeper that needs to eat all day and so I think I need to set this up before we leave so that the caretaker doesn't have to come over many times a day to feed. I love that your husband is so helpful! Thank you thank you!
Your husband is military. Using the nets with the bales of hay is similar to building a pallet for deployment and loading on an aircraft. The Air Force calls it pallet build up. I love your videos. The relationships you have with your equine family is inspirational. I teach in public school. I feel like I can use your techniques in my classroom. We can pass the sight word torch.
Regrettably it will start to rot unless you use a cover like USA Olympian Boyd Martin does. Perhaps Versatile Horsemanship would like to try one of these to see how truly simple and efficient feeding horses can really be? - ruclips.net/video/Sezp38kp3BI/видео.html
Haaaaayyy barn crew! What’s one way that you’ve simplified or refined your feeding routine? I’d love to hear your tips and tricks!

This is awesome, I'm so looking forward to using our round bale nets this winter!
Kristi Charlebois this will certainly make a huge difference for us when we get hit with a foot or more of snow 🤠
Very interesting video. Going to get a net and give this a try. Where is your farm located? Couldn't tell from the trees.
Tarp Jones they work wonders. We are in Michigan.
Love it!!
Katie Marie me too, I’m ordering 2 more 🤠
Hi! Love this idea! What size is the net you bought?
This is a 6x6 heavy duty net with 1.75” holes
What about when hay gets rained or snowed on

My horses go through it fast enough that it's not a concern, it doesn't have time to get moldy and I feed small squares daily during our muddy season.
Small squares are not baled to repel water. Why not feed 4X4 ??
I didn't have a tractor at the time. Now i feed 900 pound square bales
