The Khewra Salt Mine (or Mayo Salt Mine) is in Khewra, north of Pind Dadan Khan, an administrative subdivision of Jhelum District, Punjab Region, Pakistan. The mine is in the Salt Range, Potohar plateau, which rises from the Indo-Gangetic Plain, and is the second largest in the world.

Wonder of Pakistan but few people know about the name of Khewra and Also One of the oldest Tehsil Pind Dadan khan. Lack of facilities like health, infrastructure Etc 😢

It's the city where I was born.
Although there are many issues for visitors to deal with, such as a damaged connection road connecting Khewra to the motorway, public restrooms, a lack of sustainability and greenery, restaurant and accommodation options, and public parks, it is a really lovely area to visit. I'm requesting the administration and government departments to address these problems and create a lovely tourist destination. Pakistan's greatest asset is its friendly populace.
