Trying to find a threaded barrel is a problem right now. I'm on some waiting list of course. I love this video, it's one of the best I've seen. Thanks for making it so clear.
Enjoyed your video. Gave a local gunsmith my cz75 compact 9mm,and a bar sto semi fit barrel to install. He has had my pistol for over 5 weeks now. Called him other day,he said with new barrel is having stove pipe issues. I have this gun for yrs, never once failed to feed, eject,or function improperly with factory rounds or my reloads{Reloader for over 40 yrs.} Why does this guy have such a problem? All videos I have watched do not take the person a month or more to accomplish this. Hope he does not file anything on the slide, because will screw me up if I ever want to put the original barrel back in. I see that the only modifications are done just on new barrel, and do not fool with the slide.
Great video man. good info, good flow. so, when cleaning up that front section, do you end up cutting through the finish, or just cleaning up the finish enough to smooth it out?
@@GunsWithGage Just put a Bar-Sto 9MM conversion in my Sig Sauer 40 S&W. I wouldn't have done it without people like yourself giving us viewers the confidence. I barely had to remove any metal and it is a nice fit; again, thanks to people like you.
Just saw this video.. Exactly what I was looking for.. I have a p07 and am considering a new barrel.. When the barrel is locked in the slide I have some side to side play.. pretty loose side to side fit but other wise locks good. Is the side to side play normal??
Love your videos...Extremely informative....Just wanted to ask how your CBC upper worked out for you ? So had said the Gas Block was canted ....and your handguard was not aligned....did you have to send it back ? How did it shoot ?Thanks for all your do .....
Studio2bn thank you! I just ended up aligning the parts. I honestly haven't shot it yet. Ive been busy with a few other projects. I'll try to get around to shooting it soon and make a video
Wayne and Melanie Van De Graaff Thanks! This is my competition gun, I don't shoot more than 15 yards with it, so I'm not sure if the accuracy has changed. I know at 8 yards, I can get 3 rounds into a quarter size if I shoot every 2 seconds. I do a 30 Rd warmup drill where I shoot 3 rounds into a quarter size and I have 10 quarter size circles.

Yeah man join the gang. I been looking for a year. Was gonna buy one on primary arms but they sold out soon as I got around to it.

The CZ 97 has a similar barrel lock up, from what it appears anyway. Is there a difference in fitting technique? Let's say with a Bar-sto barrel?
No its the same for most all tilt locking designs!
How do I take the orange tip off of the Cz-p09 for a tracer?
Great tutorial. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!

Hmm you should not really have any play with the slide forward, and barrel locked. Maybe a tiny bit.
Thanks for the info!

Yea i think i fucked my new $200 apex barrel for my m&p 2.0.. i feel like it could be fixed but idk..
Great video, I have a CZ p09 also and was thinking of getting a barsto barrel. What kind of accuracy improvements did you see with the barsto?

Where can I get the grinding stone? Thanks
nhb you can get these from Brownell's website.
Thanks!!!
Is this a semi-automatic trigger
If so don't you need a stronger spring?
Nice!
