Ako din, hahahaha! Pero it is so satisfying to live on your own and buy your own stuff. Hindi man ako naghaul kasi di ko kaya, pero pa-isa isa ko naman binili ang mga gamit ko sa bahay.
Tipid tip: opt for japan/american surplus items for bowls, plates, glasses, etc. Cheaper but better quality.
When u get to our age, buying kitchen wares or anything pambahay is like a therapy 😍

Hi Thea! If you're interested in having substitute for induction cooker.. Pwede infrared cooker. You can use any pans with it kahit cast iron. Kung 1500 ang induction cooker, ang infrared eh mga 2500-3000..pero any pans you have will do.. Difference lang eh umiinit talaga yung circular surface, pero safe pa din. Promise, worth it yun. That's what we're using sa bahay 😊

Hi Thea! I just want to share if I have left over cereals, biscuits or even chips I put it in the fridge, kahit weeks na di pa din kumukunat. Pati breads you can still consume a week after expiration date kung nakalagay sa ref. 😊

Hi Thea! The fruit strainer from Miniso is probably only intended for fruits because it may cause health concerns if in contact with hot water (since you intend to use it for pasta). I suggest look at the plastic they used and if it is safe in contact with hot water :)
Thank you, Angela! ♥️ Dapat yata namention ko sa vid na hindi sya pwede sa direct heat? Kasi usually i put cold water in the pan to let the pasta cool first before i filter out the water. Nawala sa isip ko na baka iba ang practice ng iba.

Anyway, Induction Cooker is way cheaper than the pans 😉. Induction user here for 5 years now (1,499-UP lng prices).

@American Home, got ours for 1,499 (year 2015) may kasamang induction cookware with lid for soups/sabaw. Sa SM kmi bumili. My sister says, 2,299.00 na (2019 price) pero nabili lang niya ng 1,999.00 (sale).
@ no, parang mas nakatipid pa kmi and mas safe and less hassle (hindi ka na bibili or mgpapadeliver ng gas). Typical bill is just 2k (may aircon, ref, electric kettle (ito ung mas nkakataas ng kuryente) etc. pa kmi)

Ewan ko kung ako lang ba or what but our family avoid everything microwaveable or iniiwasan namin magmicrowave since nung namatay tita ko sa cancer. One of the causes kasi yun as per doctors. Araw araw syang nagmmicrowave ng food nya. And if you stand sa tapat ng microwave, it's hazardous too.
Sa bahay namin hindi rin nagmamicrowave parents ko. Napaparanoid sila sa potential effect. Ako naman gumagamit but i never stand near the microwave pag naka-on. 😂
Actually natanong ko yan sa isang Oncologist (doctor na specialist ng cancer). Sabi there is no known evidence na nagcacause ng cancer ang microwave. So it is generally safe to use microwave for your food
