MS-20 and SQ-1 ~ altered sequence

  • These two were my first pieces of gear a few years back and it's still great fun working with them. Especially the SQ-1 is still my favorite sequencer, because it allows you to alter melodies and rhythms on the fly, which makes it super versatile.
    I added some reverb with the Strymon Flint for more room in this otherwise pretty simple impro.

    Your sounds & sequence are amazing 🤩 definitely a fan of your work are you familiar with 70s experimental electronic music bands Cluster and or Harmonium your stuff reminds me of their sound

      Thanks a lot! Actually not, will look into them. My musical „career“ is pretty at the beginning, was not really into electronic music (listened to it, but never asked whats behind) before I got my first synth.

    Are you tuning the notes 🎶 on SQ1 with a voltage meter or by ear sounds so clean I’m blown away 😮

      By ear, but the built-in quantization helps a lot here.
