If I see any Adverts around, I will pick some up. I probably have them on Cd. The Vapors, Billy Bragg I have. You have shown some interesting bands that I know little about. I am looking for more Siouxsie and the Banshees.. My Cd's won't do.. I need the wax ! Haha
Although, lately I have been listening to Cd's in my wife's car, on a commute or drive across town, it's my favorite place to listen to them ! 🎵 Thanks, Mike
You did well Mike. I'm a big fan of 7"s and cool to see an Adverts in there. You've got quite a few Vibrators now 🙄A few years back I got a Delta 5 Singles & Sessions comp which is great. Great Peel Session...Billy is in his element live & solo. I've never seen a Frank Sidebottom album in the wild. I'm the same. If I saw it I'd grab it too. A gatefold 12"...snazzy! I'm sure there's a joke involving Throbbing Gristle & Vibrators but I just can't quite pull it all together 😂
Hi Ben. That Delta 5 comp is getting a reissue in a couple of weeks. I have it on pre order. The Frank Sidebottom was my favourite find this month. Throbbing Gristle and The Vibrators, a happy partnership!😂
Great bunch of Punk singles Mike and the Vapours 🤣 Super Delta 5 album. You're amassing a fantastic Peel sessions collection, that Billy Bragg is so good. TG for the win. Nice haul mate.
Some terrific pick ups Mike. Some really perfect singles there. Nice Siouxsie pick up. I love Frank Sidebottom. He always reminds me of Half Man Half Biscuit type humour, brilliant. Mike
Thanks Morten. I've been trying to build up my singles collection recently. There's something special about a punk single in a picture sleeve. Cheers Mike
Mike, I was just listening to some Delta 5. They make some different type of music. In the 80s I use to find Peel Session album, now I never see them well. They would make a fun collection That was quite the fair, did you higher someone to carry all this stuff back?
Hi Steve, I'm finding a lot of Peel Sessions at the moment, and at reasonable prices. It was mostly singles this month so not too heavy. I hope the move goes well for you and Kat. Cheers mike
Very nice Vice Squad 7" ! Also 1 of my favourite punk bands! I found a full album of them this year ( check my video My trip to the KDX vinyl fair in Leuven 18 February 2024 ) Very nice Throbbing Gristle record! I love them also! And have several albums of them! I am a fan of Genesis P Orridge ( RIP)/ Greetz Jason from Belgium
Hello Jason, thanks very much for watching and commenting. I'll check out your video, I always like to see what people buy at record fairs. Cheers Mike
Hi Mike, It must've been very quiet without us all....... I've not really been up to much though will venture out today locally and I'd want to get back on the dealing scene it's just life is busy then i need to rest. Was the Otway cover a parody of a Tom Jones album sleeve? As looks like it. Throbbing Gristle yeah fairly obscure not for everyone. Punk had to happen at some point and it was in appearance very individual and so was post punk. I think maybe i have at least a little punk attitude in me 😮😅 though I'm a little OCD to be full on i like my home comforts these days. I've a Frank CD box set, so did he put on that voice higher pitched or use a kazoo or something? Eccentric i guess. I've been working on sone prose/poetry so next vinyl scavenger release is hoing to be a bit more embarrassing myself (if i haven't done already) 😅
Hi Martin. I didn't think you'd be a Throbbing Gristle fan. Frank Sidebottom doesn't get the credit he deserves. He was a real mainstay of the live scene back in the day. I can't wait to see your embarrassing poetry video😂
@@mikevinylspiral Re: The Gristle. They used technology and were a bit more left field/Avant garde so yeah. Similarly tech combined with strong songwriting/hits OMD, Human League warrants use of a phrase I hate, 'post punk' pioneers. The poetry will be vogon-esque probably.......
One of my favourite Vibrators songs - London Girls.
Love headbutts too! Great fun

Hi JT, I agree, sometimes Cds are not enough, and only vinyl will do. I enjoyed seeing what you were up to in Japan. Cheers Mike

Very cool finds, love it

@@mikevinylspiral That’s how it’s done Mike. Keep it simple for a double entendre & it works every time 👍
Great bunch of Punk singles Mike and the Vapours 🤣 Super Delta 5 album. You're amassing a fantastic Peel sessions collection, that Billy Bragg is so good. TG for the win. Nice haul mate.
Cheers Mike. The Peel Sessions collection is getting quite large now, but there are still plenty I don't have. The TG albumis really good.
Some terrific pick ups Mike. Some really perfect singles there. Nice Siouxsie pick up. I love Frank Sidebottom. He always reminds me of Half Man Half Biscuit type humour, brilliant. Mike
Hi Mike. I don't think I've seen any Frank Sidebottom for a long time. I just had to have it and it didn't disappoint. Cheers Mike
You picked up some real gems there Mike. Cheers.
Thanks Jack. Leeds record fair is really good at the moment.
Agrees with Ben and the rest. Banging finds Mike. I really like watching videos with 7’’ even if I know nout about the little buggers 😊
Thanks Morten. I've been trying to build up my singles collection recently. There's something special about a punk single in a picture sleeve. Cheers Mike
@@mikevinylspiral I picked up a bunch of 7’s earlier this week and I got some comming from discogs soon 😊
That IS special 😊
Never heard of Delta 5 - they do remind me of Gang of Four with a girl singing. Really liked "Waiting."
Hi, thanks for watching. There's a Delta 5 singles compilation out soonthat should be really good.
