The A-6 looks like a cut down version of the Alpinestars Bionic Tech V2 Motocross Protection Jacket ! Could be what I'm looking for - I like to mix and match my elbow pads and I like the option for the shoulders to be able to come off as well. Whats the best combo of lowest/profile lightest and best protection out of these... The Astar A6 ? I have the Astar bionic tech jacket, its just too hot looking for something cooler for the summer months to run with elbow pads

I was thinking the same thing.. might look at the A6 and use without the shoulder pads - I have a should protection from a Leatt Base shirt -- then could possibly wear this under jersey more comfy
