Glad you liked the clip ! :) in the end it’s supposed to be the same earth but in the future, they actually failed to reach another world and came back on their own. There is no planet B. If you liked this clip we made with Sylvain Favre you can watch our last clip made for Earthside : all we knew and ever loved, maybe you’ll like it ^^. Maxime Tiberghien.
For me the animation reminded me more of the telltale games : the point and click games like walking dead, the wolf among us, back to the future, batman etc.
My favourite point and click game of all time is broken sword the shadow of the templars for the ps1, what a game that was and part of it just happens to be set in Paris, if you haven't played it I suggest finding it you won't be disappointed
Just explaining the concept of the video, or what I get from it at least. They learned how to travel faster than light through time distortion, so what happened is that they travelled far and got to the same planet (earth) but they arrived maybe billion of years later. Since they were traveling faster than light they didn't aged at the same rate the universe did. So essentially the meaning of the song/video for me is that we're trying to reach other planets and maybe conquer the space while we don't even take care of our our own planet. "If we can't take care of the planet we were born into, how can we expect to set up colonies somewhere else in space?".
All on point except the video itself shows that the year is 3200 (and something), there is no way there will be any remains of the Eiffel Tower in a billion years.
A bit more stylistic than their other stuff. Perhaps even radio friendly where as their other material can be somewhat proggy. Definitely listen to more of them!
I had the same reaction at the end. I thought that Another World was going to be different but OMG I can't stop listening!
I've also been listening to this since i reacted to it! So good!
A departure from their heavy stuff but still in line with their style. What an exceptional song and video
This is quite aggressive but also so poetic and relaksing

If you are not familliar with Gojira you need to fix that fast:)
The 4 astronauts is the band and they went to the future to see how there place looked and there reaction at the end it was destroyed
this song is great i wish the vocals were louder though they seem quiet to me compared to other albums

Thats an awesome theory and tbh would explain a lot!
