You two should do (or edit) a joint vid. I imagine a split screen, common music video, and when one of you pauses to discuss the other is paused along with the video, otherwise audio is synced between the 2 of you. Would be fun to watch (fear I've made it too complicated ha).

Chase, I'm a massive fan of reaction videos but damn it I put yours on top of the list - i normally watch a reaction to enjoy seeing someone else hear a favourite track of mine for the first time and relive it. But I watch yours to learn more about my favourite songs and somehow leave enjoying it more. That's rare - no-one else comes close to achieving that.
Love your stuff, keep it up please!

love gojira. found them about the same time i found jinger. and have yet to find either of them come out with a bad song... even their 'boring' or laid back songs are still really good. their standard is super high and both of them can play their stuff reaaally well live. love em both
i'd love to see you react to "Textures - Messengers", the album version preferred. although really anything off of the 'silhouettes' album is gold. I'd shoot for 'Storm warning' for a heavier one with lots of "shock value" that would have alot for you to talk about. Always like your reactions, take care

This video contains many truly scientific references, I loved the detail of the warp motor, and that is a magnificent detail from Gojira! The science/spiritually behind every part of their music, If you travel reaching the speed of light time turns slower when you closer to the speed of light, and if you travel at speed of light time stops, that means that they traveled like a ray of light and just went to future not to other side, they returns to earth in the future where the life is spreading from 0 again, and now Gojira are alone in the world, "Another World, Another Place to Be!"

And here's my go to list when i recommend Gojira to those who haven't heard them before. Gives a sample of each album. Problem is their albums are so good you'll never get agreement on which tracks are the best to listen to.
Before I list them, I strongly recommend Where Dragons Dwell live at Hellfest 2013, its a right of passage - my favourite live performance of any band.
I'd struggle to rank the below, but Flying Whales (probably their signature track), Heaviest matter of the universe (heavy!), Gift of guilt live Brixton (perfect live performance), art of dying (masterful),... They all are "must do" tracks.
3rd album: from mars to sirius
The heaviest matter in the universs
    Flying whales
Where Dragons dwell (youtube: live at hellfest 2013 - a must see)

Gojira has a knack for taking a repeating riff or phrase, play it for longer than you'd expect, but never having it feel repetitive or droning. I feel that with them and Opeth. And social commentary is a big part of their themes. I'd suggest maybe "Toxic Garbage Island", "Global Warming", "Death of Me" - or even just go with something a little newer, "L'Enfant Sauvage"

I highly suggest, when you get the time, to check out "The Day That The World Breaks Down" by Ayreon. Ayreon is not a band per se but a music project that resides in the prog metal/metal opera genre. The man behind it, Arjen Anthony Lucassen, writes concept albums and gets guest artists to play the characters in the stories. Some of the albums take place in the same universe and some are standalone stories. I think with your ability to notice so much detail in every song you react to, you could really do them justice.
Also "Blind and Frozen" by Beast in Black, more great power metal.

Honestly, it's not the most exciting track from them, i mean, don't get me wrong, it's always Gojira, but you definitely have to check some of their older stuff. I would go for Art of Dying, L'enfant Sauvage, Flying Whales, any of these you can't go wrong.
And sorry, have to start insisting :) Please check out Ne Obliviscaris. The way you breakdown music goes right up your alley, they are an aussie progmetal band, they incorporate violin and they are so awesome. The "reaction" track everybody goes to is "And plague flowers the kaleidscope", but it's a 12 minute song and will all the introcacy, i am sure you will end up with a 30+ min reaction. But i would recommend also Intra Venus from their last album. But believe me, you will go on a trip with them. Just a final comment, the Plague music was include in the Australian Music Conservatory to be studied as a composition, even though we are talking a band that mixes Black with Prog (harsh and clean vocals). So, definitely worth a check.

Thumbs up for Chase. I like this one better than Silvera.

I'll put another recommendation - L'Enfant Sauvage :) It has an awesome video too.
and repeat what people said here- Th Art of Dying, Flying Whales.
Another World is one of my least favourites. I'll hope the rest of the album will be different :P

At work, but I've heard this 4 times now. While I really like Gojira and can easily rock out to them, this was too repetitive for me this go. I have no doubt they'll have more in line for me on the album though.

Not a fan of the videoclip but the song is amazing.
