- This video is about places to visit in jammu and some of the legendary food of Jammu. During this travel in feb 2020 we didn’t go to Kashmir but when we travel next time we will go to Kashmir as well.

Jammu is about 580 km from Delhi, most travellers halt at Jammu for some time either when travelling to VaishnoDevi or on way back.
We reached Jammu on 14th feb night thinking that we will stay here for one day but eventually realised that we need to spend some more time and stayed there for 3 days.

Pahalwan’s : This is a popular restaurant chain, i got deeply impressed by the taste of food they serve.

Mansar & Surinsar Lake : This is on outskirts of Jammu, about 55 km from Jammu Bus stand. You should look at going to Mansar lake if you have sufficient time at your disposal.

R.K Sweet Shop: This is one of the many sweets shops at Thandi Khui, this place is famous for Mawa Barfi.

Amar Mahal Palace: This is a museum, it is closed on monday, we missed to visit this place.

Hari Niwas Palace: This is Heritage property that got converted to hotel, Stay at this place is expensive but yes that’s an experience. You need to do booking in advance other wise there is a chance that you may not get accomodation.

I've been to mansar lake many a times in my life. It holds religious importance for me and my family because mansar humare pitro ki jagah hai. Due to which we aren't allowed to do boating in the lake. An interesting fact about the lake is that it's depth has not been measured to date! Even the British made attempts to measure the depth but it is way too deep,unse bhi nahi hua

A few words about "RAJMAH". We in Sialkot, Pakistan are used to cook this dish at least 2~3 times in a month. Yes the shop-keeper is absolutely right. Multi-color rajmah are the best in taste. We prefer Rajmah+Chawal (White chawal (Rice).
I also love to eat Rajama chawal.

I’m from J&k never visit Jammu during summers you will get frustrate bcz of heat wave. Best time to visit Jammu is oct-feb. During summer Jammu temperature is similar to Delhi temperature and sometime more than that.

I watch your videos often and liked everything and most of it. The only thing that is highly intolerable or becomes the laughing reason for the whole family is the way you eat😂. Whenever you put the first bite in ur mouth the facial expressions you make during that are hilarious. That clenching jaw moving your eyebrows and big nose are the additional plus points. Kudos sir.

Sir, your channel has come a long way. I stil remember watching your Delhi videos 2-3 years back.
It's great that you are travelling to all parts and regions instead of just focusing on places which will give you views(Delhi, Mumbai) which most of the so called travel channels do. I think you should promote your channel a lot more or maybe Collab with some good youtubers and work a little more on editing and camerawork( I am not saying that it's bad but there's always room for improvement).

Btw, I have seen that you get a lot of questions regarding making videos 30-40 mins long. I think there's absolutely no need to make videos so long that it becomes kinda boring. 15-20 mins is perfect and it makes the video a lot more engaging.
