I just wish it would've been advertised as such and not like it was a whole new extea experience that would also wow zombies fans when it's clearly not meant to be.
@@FruitKocktail I also feel like it's telling a story from richtofen's perspective, I mean this takes place after the cutscene we saw with him. Even if it's just a filler map I'd rather have that than nothing at all, Terminus Island seems to be where the real deal is at, with launch.

the thing about liberty falls being a "bonus map", is that is was never marketed as one. it was marketed as a second full zombies experience, just like the other launch map. so if this map truly is a bonus map then they very intentionally mislead us with the marketing up until now.
I really don’t think it’s Milo’s fault the map is getting so many complaints. I was watching him live react to liberty falls on stream and he was very open minded and positive until the chat started going crazy. He was just relaying that info in his video
the idea of a “bonus map” stems from things like like transit where they had tranzit as the main map and town as a “survival map” with no easter egg. just pure gameplay
The reason zombies are bad is because for all the og's who got to play the old cods, we dont have the music to make scenery scary, the maps were big but tight space to make us actually wanna survive, we keep getting ammo drops instead of getting ammo off the wall or the box, zombies dont have a good story because this story makes zero sense and we have wayyyy to much help. For those who know the og vonderhaar who was the main reason why world at war and all the blackops zombies was good retired after bo3 because he himself said the fans was not gonna mess with the new zombies and its finna be a mess. Lol he was definitely right. Also who tf wanna play zombies in broad daylight real og's remember most our maps were dark. The once biggest problem these zombies look bs its not scary as the old blackops zombies
My issue is that their catering to MP and WZ players with zombies while leaving what the dedicated hardcore zombies players want out. "A game for everyone can easily become a game for no one". In this case game mode.
I mean let's not forget that Transit was also the worst Launch map we ever received. And then Black Ops 2 went on to have some of the best Maps ever created...
@@ese1588 It's just another zombie experience telling a story, I like how everyone is just completely avoiding mentioning Terminus island too. We have also seen none of the Easter eggs for this map yet and it's just the outbreak perspective of what we saw in the Richtofen cutscene. We're not even playing as the set crew it's just telling a story from richtofen's point of view. I think people are being way too quick to judge for something we didn't even get full access to yet...
I thought the map looked fine, but all the Easter eggs were disabled so it’s almost impossible to judge the map fully. If you wanna judge it based off looks sure, but trying to judge all of the zombies mode when they basically showed us a demo of a small map is alittle silly. I’ve been playing since WaW and both maps serve their own purpose and will both have a main quest and I’ll be doing them 100%.
We’re judging based on the information we have been given. Its not hard to understand. Just because its not fully released doesn’t mean we can’t criticize what we have seen.
As strictly a Zombies fan I wish the MP crowd appreciated "zombies aura" they USED to have. EE's are worthless if the atmosphere feels like going to the grocery store IRL.
I went back to play Black Ops 2 yesterday just out of boredom (and to revisit the past), and holy moly the vibes are so different. I really missed it. The atmosphere, the gameplay, the creative map designs, all of it.
Bonus map for casuals, big map for hardcore players. That’s the whole thing they’ve been saying. The bonus map is more about the core gameplay rather than map depth whereas Terminus is gonna be all about content. They feel it would be too overwhelming for new player to jump into a match of terminus rather than the more simple liberty falls and might never play zombies again if it’s not accessible enough. They’re trying to copy the format that Bo3 had with complex map and casual map which was very well received
I haven't played since bo3, played a lil bit of coldwar zombies. But liberty falls looks like the perfect map for me to get back in to zombies, that maps going to bring back so much og's, the blandness, the huge open areas, it's like what bo2 was trying to be 🙏
@@jdgjagerbomber9430There’s a 18 minute gameplay video on RUclips of it and multiple creators impressions and an entire blog post going over the map and gameplay features. We’ve known about Terminus for a month now.
The map being simple in layout and mechanics are not the issues. The issue lies with the atmosphere and the deceptive marketing making it seem like a crazy map. Again we don’t know if areas were closed or if the EE opens up a part of the map but from what I saw this maps vibe is pretty trash
There is huge chance the map will change throughout the easter egg, its not like they havnt done that on past maps, Shadows of evil literally changed the skybox to a giant tentacle beast Its probably why theyre being so quiet about it, because they don't want to reveal it yet But the downside is everyone's shitting on the map, so they kind of need to reveal it to stop people moaning so much
@@alex_le_vrai4452wow somebody agrees with me for once haha Thank you, though it could just stay like that, I really feel like something will change at some point though, as Terminus is set at the same time as Liberty Falls, so it makes sense that something we do there might affect what happens in LF
@@gazwilliams-nc7jp that’d be so awesome 😆. But yeah I think they should’ve have make people test Terminus instead of the liberty falls map, because it’s clearly obvious that liberty falls was made for new comers to the series, and I think the community wouldn’t have shit talk the new zombies with this map!
A zombies fan since bo2, I enjoy health counters, helps me know how much damage I’m doing and how much longer until what I’m shooting’s Dead, without needing to have those numbers displayed
The point of a bonus map is that it is not polished and does not take a lot of dev time, but you are right they should be polished and have concentrated quality i.e. THE GIANT i.e. FIVE etc.
While I am slightly disappointed liberty falls isn’t a Tranzit remake like I thought it would be, I do think it is going to be a fun casual map to play on. I would compare the “terminus island + liberty falls” package to the “tranzit + town” package. Town was a simple small map; however it was one of the most played maps in bo2 for casual players.
Health bars on zombies is kinda useless tbh since there’s so many of them and it kinda takes you out of the immersion. Like imagine if you shot a zombie in real life and a health bar appeared over them. My thought with zombie themed games are that they try to simulate a real life zombies experience.
@@gyro9483 I’m talking about in the resources aspect. I should have specified. When the world is in shambles and eroded from years of scavenging you don’t just have armor plates to put on and a kill streak to call in to help.
I agree with a lot of the criticism that is being made about liberty falls however I don’t get why people are making it sound like the whole zombies mode is gonna be trash now, like did they just forget Terminus exists and think Liberty falls is the only map that will be available
The Terminus gameplay we saw had no hud, tons of motion blur, and no damage taken by the players - clearly it was played by developers. Then we got to actually watch real time gameplay on LF which had a HUD and fast movement. People lost their minds at the difference. In fact on Dalek's stream they were spamming L instantly when the game started.
I actually gave negative feedback for this when it was first revealed but now I kinda like it, the overall aesthetics especially indoor areas. haven't played zombies since bo3 but excited to see how the new systems from cold war onwards play
It is important to give feedback when you feel it’s needed but it’s nice to hear that you’re still having an open mind about it. I’ve seen so many people just dogpile the negative opinions and then say they’ll never play it or give it a chance.
@@Ermac43 when u see a large amount of people hating it, it kinda invites you to hate is aswell. Even if you liked it, it alters your perception. That's what I think is happening for most people, they will all buy the game eventually 😂
I think overall a good thing us to give it s try before playing it, I thought mw3 was gonna be cool and I didnt like it in the end but at the end of the day I'm happy I tried the game
@blearbenin I've noticed alot of people are just following a RUclipsr or streamers opinion instead of trying it, I played the multiplayer beta before watching any videos and ended up liking it
The problem is they marketed this as a full fledged map not a bonus map. They put terminus and liberty falls like neck and neck on the marketing campaign. And this map goes back to everything most ppl didn’t like about Cold War and doubled down on it.
To inform you ink, a "bonus map" essentially means a smaller zombies map with less quests, things to do. More of a straight survival type map without wonder weapons, perks. Just a simpler experience. HOWEVER, people using the term "bonus map" to essentially absolve liberty falls of its massive list of shortcomings is just wrong. Not sure if its cope, kissing up to activision and being more positive, or what but its deceptive for sure.
I think the problem is that we were so infatuated with Terminus we forgot Liberty Falls was going to be different. Treyarch, Kevin and his team has announced numerous times before Cod Next that Liberty falls was not going to be targeted for the hardcore fan base but to the casuals who want to hop in and just simply play. A lot of the complaints of Liberty Falls was not new information. We knew all about from the layout, design, operators, everything! We forgot that Terminus was specifically made for the hardcore players to enjoy while Liberty wasnt. What Treyarch is pointing is that they want to balance it out for all to enjoy. No one is gonna sit here and say Treyarch didnt intend this because they absolutely did
Kevin Drew did say on the cod podcast that liberty balls is more a casual map were you just sit and relax Terminus however a bigger and more challenging map and has more to offer
I do hope the LF build that presented on COD NEXT was just a early build which features no EE, no extra area, just wanted people to have a look on this map to make new COD ZM fans to get a grip easily on the gameplay, ofc for us OG fans it is bland yes, but treyarch has to make change for OG players
Another thing is about HUD, lotta people are bothering about HUD on its aesthetic style because it used to be a iconic thing about Zombie, which makes Zombie more Zombie
What happened to the days where a Game publisher would just release a game without a beta and it just be great. No/little customer opinion needed. The fact we're having input to make they're game playable is beyond me.
Staying neutral or I might butchered my opinions bc my zombie experience started in Cold War but I have played older zombies (Knock, Tranzit, and most if not all of BO3 zombies). Liberty Falls felt so basic but basic enough for all content creators (multiplayer, WZ creators, random/non-cod creators). Devs may or may not have changed throughout the CoD cycle so things to code back to old school may or may not be functional enough... who knows (just saying and overthinking)? It's great we have more options compared to what we had to deal with back in the old school experience, though by the looks of things most of us want the old system. Audience dependent can also be an issue: teens, adults, senors; casuals, hardcore players, 9-5 or 12 hour shifts players. Now this bonus map, based on a couple of research of other cod zombie content creators, that there's more than just the Next reveal. So I'll wait and see.
As someone who's been playing since the World at War I can say Black Ops 3 is not what it is made out to be it is absolute fucking garbage it sucks the guns are bad the look of the guns are bad and the sounds are bad let me tell you this about the community because I've experienced two other communities that have done the same sometimes people will praise a very shity game just because it's old Black Ops 1 2 and World at War are pretty good but Black Ops 3 and 4 are very fucking bad maybe not story wise maybe not character wise but it is a terrible game
Me too. I loved BO3 and it’s launch of 1 really complicated map that’s super big (Shadows of Evil), which is Terminus for BO6. Then another map that’s smaller and more of a chill experience (The Giant), but in BO6 Liberty will have its own main quest so that’ll be fun to do aswell.
Milos video that i saw was pretty fair i thought he brought up concerns and gave reasonable answers that could be why the concerns could be invalid. And the bonus map thing is because its a map made for casual players thats got less going on and will mostly be used for camo grind and weapon leveling. Its a not as hard more relaxed map for the less experienced. Like when "Shadows of Evil" had "The Giant". Casual players played the giant because it was less complicated and easy. But the giant was very zombies esk feeling.
People didnt fall in line with it........ they all would think the same thing even if he didnt make any videos on it. He is just the honest voice for zombies
Following bo3 bonus map Concept where it has a fullydeveloped complex map as shadows and then it has the giant as an easy and more casual map. Bo6 looks like terminus is more old-school and the liberty falls it's more War zone to appeal to those people who want to use operators and such things. I don't know how this will translate into the post launch content. Maybe mp maps but expanded like liberty falls
I like the contrast. I like that they have a super zombies esk map and one more grounded and more realistic like MP or Warzone. Abd one is day abd one is night. Keeps it fresh.
I think the base liberty falls map is ok but aesthetically it could use some work like maybe change the sky box to more of a dusk or night setting and show the town a little lit up and add some more destruction around the map
It’s considered a bonus map and it means mostly like if you watch rofl waffles he explains it a lot better but it’s just like a map that isn’t fully fleshed out it’s more for newer players and easier to just have fun and kill zombies, terminus is full zombies experience harder Easter egg side Easter eggs and what the community loves, liberty falls is mostly for warzone players tbh
I've been playing zombies since black ops 1 and i have to sat, im actually looking forward to this map/game. I like the mini map/health on screen and loadouts and all the new mechanics added over the years, idk why everyone complains about everything
So think of a "bonus map" as a DLC map that we would have bought in a DLC bundle with others similar to The Zombies Chronicles DLC, full polished extra maps that we did have to pay for back in the day when Zombies was at peak production. This is what's so tough about the subscription model of the zombies, they aren't technically getting paid extra specifically for the maps only the store purchases and what not, but we can clearly see the difference in production. Being an OG zombies player from World at War, yes there is def a difference. For some surely, not a deal breaker but in this day and age, I'm not truly expecting it to feel like the OG back in the day or even B02 era. After trying b04 I really did take some time from gaming but the nostalgia is nice when I do see it.
I like the map idc what other people say it will also be a perfect map for grinding zombies gun camos since you can get pack a punch right off the bat and there will for sure be a gun camo challenge based around that
13:36 I think it’s not about surviving longer as opposed to classic zombies by the time you are over round say 20+ the game turns up in difficulty fast. So that’s mind set then seeing people on their first attempt getting to 50 means to the community this is a more chill experience. Some people want to go back to a 3 hit without jugg 5 with down system to enhance the difficulty
Because the game is being marketed as black ops 6 not cold war 2. People are expecting to get bo1-bo4 quality of zombies. In my opinion Cold war zombies was the worst it lost it survival feel , very easy and maps are no where near as creative as the past ones.
I really don’t like how RUclipsrs are saying give it a chance it’s beta, Easter eggs are not active, other things are not in the game… GUYS black ops zombies 1 - 3 was HYPED before beta, after and during release. So no… I’m not going to wait until it’s released they have failed zombies.
Honestly, I don't hate or like the map. I need to play it to get a good consensus for one or the other. I think it is nice if we get maps for other players in mind to come in and enjoy zombies, but I will say that this is probably the best zombies we will get this year because of how they are approaching zombies this year. We are getting standard, guided, and (from leaked files) classic zombies. Basically, each address is an issue with zombies sense its conception. Standard allows players to start with a load out of their choice and progress through the map without a guiding hand. Guided is basically making it so you can learn and complete the main Easter egg. And if classic is the third mode they introduce to zombies, it's the regular zombies experience a lot of the zombies community want. Starting with nothing, put a pistol and work your way up. I really have great hopes for zombies this year. New comers can come and enjoy zombies while learning how to do Easter eggs of each map. (GUIDED) Those who prefer to have a little bit of challenge but still have the option of choosing their favorite loadout to start with. (STANDARD) And if Classic comes out as a mode, it means all the hard-core zombies fans can have their diffucult climb and work their way up. (CLASSIC)
They are using liberty falls as a gateway for mp players and warzone players to get into zombies. Zombies is a small player base they need to grow to keep the mode alive
I’m praying that the rumors about classic zombies returning is true. I do not like Cold War mechanics and I think it would be very refreshing for the OG’s that prefer WAW-BO3 mechanics.
A bonus map is for casuals, maybe it’s your little brother wants to play some split screen with you or it’s for to get the multiplayer community shooting zombies or even for super casual zombies fans. This is why it’s stupid to hate on liberty balls, it’s not even targeting us(the zombies community). I think the reason there is hate is because they chose narratively to cater to us so hard with all the hype and the opening cutscene bringing back a fan favorite zombies character. We got baited and switched.
If there was reasoning behind why liberty falls looks the way it does. It's probably to have one bright wide open map to give people from MP and warzone something a little more simple to play..idk
I mean maybe it was a good thing they did this map at the COD event cause now it’s gotten such negative feed back maybe they can make the necessary changes to improve on it before launch rather than after launch and with the feed back from this map it will help with future DLC maps….just trying to be positive
the movement in cod zombies after BO3 when it comes to the abilities of the zombies has been problematic for me. After black ops 4 zombies became more capable. they became faster and stronger the longer the rounds go on. that kinda broke it for me.
It's probably where Treyarch wants MP and WZ players to level their weapons. I don't think the game is terrible, actually I find it quite innovative, but I don't think I'm going to get it, not until it's like 38% off. It's certainly the CoD of CoD games for all the OGs who wanted all the "classic features."
I am writing this after typing it all out sorry if its too long tldr is that the maps are somewhat fine but the issue lies within mechanics but I do recommend you read it all because I did propose some solutions and would like to hear your opinions :) As an old hardcore fan of zombies I have nothing against the map, with the few minor exceptions like huge open areas making it far too easy, to the point where the old map philosophy seems to have been lost and now its made so you can survive anywhere. ALSO THIS MAP SHOULD NOT BE TREATED AS A BONUS MAP AS ITS NOT MARKETED AS ONE. My problem is all the new systems to make it feel like warzone and multiplayer instead of making it feel unique for example armour, it doesn't belong in zombies it belongs in warzone and multiplayer we had zombie shields in older black ops titles that fulfilled that purpose but made it in a zombies fashion. You still had to think and play around your shield so zombies hit your back and not the front and armour removes that skill and just makes it far too easy. Another thing is the HUD for me is the biggest issue its cool that you can customize it but the problem is that it looks like a copy paste from warzone more so where the health, points and perks are displayed as well as the minimap, also don't fully like how the gun and field upgrade are displayed looks a bit bland to me, although in my opinion this should be an easy fix with just some restyling as well as changing the kill feed and where the pts gained are displayed and then having the option for multiplayer players to switch it to what it currently is but not have it as a default, as for the minimap it should be removed and changed with a map that u can open with tab or the touchpad on controllers but that's zombified meaning each area u explore you can find a map piece and eventually you will have the complete map and it should have some essentials marked like PAP, armour stations or whatever they're called and maybe perk locations you get the idea. Next is the points systems and loadouts, this is a tricky thing to tackle I prefer a million times over the older points systems that actually involved some technique and thinking and every time u went from round 1 to 2 your points wouldn't really be the same, but now its so mindless and skill-sess it feels like its made for children that lack attention span and just want to mindlessly shoot zombies, but here's the thing you could still do that on the old system, so overall in my opinion the old system was better because it had a skill gap. As for loadouts I feel like you should start with a pistol and then through either a side quest or just turning on power a box will appear like a care package or idk something like that where for something like 2.5k pts you can buy your loadout with field upgrade and all that good stuff (hence the steep price) and that way you please both fans you still have some progression and incentive to buy wall buys and spin the box and its not just well I already started with the best weapon why change it now if I just need to PAP it and upgrade it. Also something I just saw in the gameplay when you start with a weapon this is also the case in cold war you start with max ammo so like 500 ammo in a AR and that's just ridiculous in my opinion I do think that you should start with less ammo and make ammo crates more expensive at the start so like 500pts for like 4 mags of pistols and 1000 pts for ARs or idk do tell if there are better ideas. Lastly quests now I cant say much for now as I am still looking forward to trying it all out in the game but by the looks of it the philosophy of just going to the PAP machine and upgrading your wonder weapon with 50k pts seems to have moved over from CW and I don't like that a perfect example is Origins with their staffs and upgrades it felt unique and it gave some more incentive to explore and do fun things to make yourself stronger and not just mindlessly shoot zombies to upgrade your wonder weapon and feel stronger. As well as PAP quests to get PAP now I don't know if it was disabled for Liberty Falls but I would like to see some sort of quest to get PAP. I did say lastly but I do have some issues with salvage mainly score streaks things like the cruise missile and the chopper gunner I don't fully like chopper gunner is a bit more excusable if it was a side quest and not just buy it and for me same goes for the mutant injection (I don't remember how they called it) I like the idea but I feel like it should've been crafted like you gather bits and pieces from areas and concoct the injection and then have the ability to use it. But I do think that buying some score streaks like a grenade launcher or a flamethrower is cool and unique but the rest feels too op. With all that being said I am still looking forward to the story and easter eggs that they have teased and I will be playing it, I just wish they listened a bit more and accepted they are wrong for letting down a huge fanbase that followed zombies for many years.
Why dont people like hp bars and exp on screen? Is it just because different? And, to fight off the "go back to warzone 9yo" conments, I've been playing since at least 2013. My first game was BO2. I dont know about you guys, but i wouldn't like to play zombies if it basically looked the same every year.
im a zombies veteran since waw but since bo4 and afterwards zombies sort of became dead to me and i played it way WAY less. It just changed. and so did the story for the worst.
That cause liberty falls is just to go high rounds not everyone cares about Easter eggs and story. Story side of zombies is why zombies failed on mw3 Liberty falls is why I decided to get the gamepass vault upgrade
As a sole zombies player who enjoys classic zombies more than Cold War (cold war zombies was just fine solid 6.5 overall) after being told by treyarch that zombies is going to be implementing classic features again it got me pretty hype but after seeing the gameplay I am thoroughly disappointed in the fact that they essentially lied to us. It is not classic zombies at all. Sure they brought back gobble gum and load outs but that is not classic zombies at all. I was hoping for a innovative fusion of the golden era (bo2 and bo3) and Cold War however it seems to me that it’s just Cold War with some quality of life changes and a large chunk of the zombies community has essentially abandoned modern zombies and no longer are excited for the new games. Zombies has been having a severe identity problem since 2018 but issue stems from much further back in bo2. This is due to changing directions and game directors from solely round survival to more of a story experience. And because of the slow change over time has left community is shattered into many different subgroups. Not to dissimilar to how the halo community was built and then slowly fell apart imo. I’ll still be getting the game because I really love the mp beta so far and I do enjoy the campaign and zombies doesn’t look bad per say but i my opinion it should be better.
20:34 there’s bonus maps because they scared fans away before with games like bo2 and 3 transit was main experience on bo2 but at launch they knew that map was too much so they broke it up into pieces as survival maps not to mention nuketown was another survival map to accompany those and please those multiplayer fans, bo3 fans hated shadows of evil at launch but there was too much going on and so they had the giant which is a remaster/remake because it has elements of both to accompany shadows, bo4 when the root of having no maps that’s were easy for casuals so they’ve always done this, hell kino was the main map of black ops and it was very casual friendly, even more than der reise and that map was accompanied by five which was extremely difficult
If it's only this one map I can look past it. I get they wanted a more simplistic, bright, and open map for others to hopefully get into zombies. I'll probably still play the map and enjoy it. But definitely looks no where near as fun as Terminus.
It's a regular fucking town in West Virginia not a research station for Nazis not outer space not in a different dimension a regular fucking town being overran by zombies it is not hard to understand anyone with a functioning brain can understand why does map doesn't look like fucking Revelations just pay attention to the fucking story
While I do dislike a lot of features that we have seen so far in zombies, I am by no means going to let that bring down my experience. No matter what happens with this game I'm going to have fun and play it all the time. I hope treyarch can take some of our criticism and use it to polish/fix some of the things that we dislike. But other than that I'm hype.
Prefer games with just starting pistols like original zombies and no armor. With kills you get points, then it’s up to you to buy a door, or buy a wall gun and then buy the box when you find it. Once you find jugg, you buy it if you have the $. If you go down and you are playing with a group, they must revive you. If all get down, game over. That’s how it should be as far as i am concerned. All this armor, starting with your guns is BS.
@@mikemarion19 well we are different then! I like a challenge of zombies to see how far i get; you’re doing for camos. I do not care about camos or operator skins.
Excluding Milo who specifically advertised/promoted Liberty Falls with his whole adventure is one for the books. It feels like a decoy flag being lifted to get old zombie fans interested into the game. But then pulling a fast one by not including him. Did Treyarch have to? That’s debatable. I’d say, yes, in good faith that he’d promote the map and mystique of story as well. Even now he’s being fair with his review of the map by pointing out the pros and cons. But having him do all these quests and hunting and researching only to not be invited is telling. Let alone the fact that Dalek and Chopper were the only zombie RUclipsrs there. Warzone really did more long term damage to the brand. Even though Warzone brought new life to the game, it is holding the series back. There’s no way we’d get things like Extinction, AW zombies, IW zombies, or any other experimental modes in current cod expect for zombies. Treyarch better have something substantial happen when Easter eggs are released or the Terminus better be amazing because… people are mad.
I don’t care if it looks like Cold War zombies like Cold War was my first ever zombies I enjoyed I played with my friend so I rlly don’t mind liberty falls being smaller map for casual people like helps newer people to get used to zombies get used to the new perks paka punch too mystery box as well and I think the map will be good when Easter eggs as well come out with its launched too and idk if it will be massive Easter egg or simple one new ppl to get used to that stuff too
If liberty falls it’s bad now imagine how bad the rest of the maps are gonna be .. this feels like Cold War zombies maybe 20% of ppl like Cold War zombies ……. But we wanted original zombies back simple fun and addictive but NO we got garbage

Not the issue here issue is we were promised something completely different from what we got.
You must be high😂transit is the best zombies map of all time
@@ese1588 It's just another zombie experience telling a story, I like how everyone is just completely avoiding mentioning Terminus island too.

If this game turns into like Cold War zombies maps, we are doomed.
This is why, the trailer made it look like a classic BO map, and it ended up being a Cold War map.
Im not a massive cod fan but doesnt everyone complain about nearly everything in cod.
Liberty Balls
But liberty falls looks like the perfect map for me to get back in to zombies, that maps going to bring back so much og's, the blandness, the huge open areas, it's like what bo2 was trying to be 🙏
Everyone is talking about liberty falls why isnt anyone talking about terminus island
Cause it’s sort’ve passed and people like to hate on cod, rather than look forwards to or praise it
because we havent seen gameplay on that yet
@@jdgjagerbomber9430 We have. There are trailers of it, and people have released footage of it.
@@jdgjagerbomber9430There’s a 18 minute gameplay video on RUclips of it and multiple creators impressions and an entire blog post going over the map and gameplay features. We’ve known about Terminus for a month now.
Uhhhhh yes we did see gameplay of terminus. Are you under a rock??
MP players new to Zombies like the kill-feed, health bars, armor plates.... Oldschool Zombies fans largely don't.
The map being simple in layout and mechanics are not the issues. The issue lies with the atmosphere and the deceptive marketing making it seem like a crazy map. Again we don’t know if areas were closed or if the EE opens up a part of the map but from what I saw this maps vibe is pretty trash
There is huge chance the map will change throughout the easter egg, its not like they havnt done that on past maps, Shadows of evil literally changed the skybox to a giant tentacle beast
Its probably why theyre being so quiet about it, because they don't want to reveal it yet
But the downside is everyone's shitting on the map, so they kind of need to reveal it to stop people moaning so much
I absolutely agree with you!! ✨
@@alex_le_vrai4452wow somebody agrees with me for once haha
Thank you, though it could just stay like that, I really feel like something will change at some point though, as Terminus is set at the same time as Liberty Falls, so it makes sense that something we do there might affect what happens in LF

@@gazwilliams-nc7jp im sure this will be the greatest zombie ever!! And people doesn’t even know it yet!
That beginning roast burnt all your chances with some of the zombies youtubers 😂I love it
A zombies fan since bo2, I enjoy health counters, helps me know how much damage I’m doing and how much longer until what I’m shooting’s Dead, without needing to have those numbers displayed
Yeah I get like zero Transit vibes from this other than the jet gun and that's about it not bad MAP just should have been different
Health bars on zombies is kinda useless tbh since there’s so many of them and it kinda takes you out of the immersion. Like imagine if you shot a zombie in real life and a health bar appeared over them. My thought with zombie themed games are that they try to simulate a real life zombies experience.
Yeah because cod zombies has been well known for simulating real life zombie experiences
I would definitely check out Milo's video, he goes into a ton more detail, he also wanted the map to be better.

BTW a bonus map means it is more casual and in the past meant it didn't have a as in depth easter egg or no easter egg at all.
Milo does huge deep dives and I do think he has the best takes for the core of the zombies community
No one is gonna sit here and say Treyarch didnt intend this because they absolutely did
Mad respect for the NoahJ diss
who is surprised that Milo was used to blindly promote the worst Zombies map for years?
The mangler is actually from all the way from bo3 zombies, Now they are just getting thrown in every map.
What happened to the days where a Game publisher would just release a game without a beta and it just be great. No/little customer opinion needed. The fact we're having input to make they're game playable is beyond me.
Zombies should feel like BO3 and thats all we want
I’m excited for both zombies maps at launch.

It seems like LF will be a great camo grind map if anything
🎵My Liberty balls are sweaty
Knees weak, arms are heavy 🎵
Me just being a multiplayer guy whats wrong this map seems fine
The devs ATLEAST gotta change the sky box. Atleasttttt. Btw more zombies video slasher ! 🔥
Mw3 zombies have the warzone map yet y'all ain't complaining bout that yet people complain Liberty falls
Hate anything with a health bar
(GUIDED)
Those who prefer to have a little bit of challenge but still have the option of choosing their favorite loadout to start with. (STANDARD)
And if Classic comes out as a mode, it means all the hard-core zombies fans can have their diffucult climb and work their way up. (CLASSIC)
They are using liberty falls as a gateway for mp players and warzone players to get into zombies. Zombies is a small player base they need to grow to keep the mode alive
If milo was invited to cod next he would've started a liberty balls chant in the middle of the event
I feel like Samantha will influence the skybox or the map in some way and that’s gonna be cool if it happens
I’m praying that the rumors about classic zombies returning is true. I do not like Cold War mechanics and I think it would be very refreshing for the OG’s that prefer WAW-BO3 mechanics.
You mean for the idiots who don't like anything new😂
A bonus map is for casuals, maybe it’s your little brother wants to play some split screen with you or it’s for to get the multiplayer community shooting zombies or even for super casual zombies fans. This is why it’s stupid to hate on liberty balls, it’s not even targeting us(the zombies community). I think the reason there is hate is because they chose narratively to cater to us so hard with all the hype and the opening cutscene bringing back a fan favorite zombies character. We got baited and switched.
Milo’s whiteboard video is awesome, he also has a new one where he compares liberty falls with other maps that came with the release of cod
I am writing this after typing it all out sorry if its too long tldr is that the maps are somewhat fine but the issue lies within mechanics but I do recommend you read it all because I did propose some solutions and would like to hear your opinions :)
As an old hardcore fan of zombies I have nothing against the map, with the few minor exceptions like huge open areas making it far too easy, to the point where the old map philosophy seems to have been lost and now its made so you can survive anywhere.
They did confirm the first dlc zombies map will be here before 2025
They said they disabled so many things for for the Event
I truly dont belive we have seeen everything Liberty Falls has to offer
Why dont people like hp bars and exp on screen? Is it just because different? And, to fight off the "go back to warzone 9yo" conments, I've been playing since at least 2013. My first game was BO2. I dont know about you guys, but i wouldn't like to play zombies if it basically looked the same every year.
im a zombies veteran since waw but since bo4 and afterwards zombies sort of became dead to me and i played it way WAY less.
It just changed. and so did the story for the worst.
Twitter is not the place for any kind of constructive feedback
4:09 a bonus map is like Kino and Five from bo1 when you beat something like the campaign
That cause liberty falls is just to go high rounds not everyone cares about Easter eggs and story. Story side of zombies is why zombies failed on mw3
Liberty falls is why I decided to get the gamepass vault upgrade
20:34 there’s bonus maps because they scared fans away before with games like bo2 and 3 transit was main experience on bo2 but at launch they knew that map was too much so they broke it up into pieces as survival maps not to mention nuketown was another survival map to accompany those and please those multiplayer fans, bo3 fans hated shadows of evil at launch but there was too much going on and so they had the giant which is a remaster/remake because it has elements of both to accompany shadows, bo4 when the root of having no maps that’s were easy for casuals so they’ve always done this, hell kino was the main map of black ops and it was very casual friendly, even more than der reise and that map was accompanied by five which was extremely difficult

my problem with zombies since cold war is the weapon rarity system. I hate it. It has no business in cod
Im fine with Liberty Falls being a bonus map, but it wasn't marketed as a bonus map at all, and it makes the Richtofen cutscene feel like bait.
If it's only this one map I can look past it. I get they wanted a more simplistic, bright, and open map for others to hopefully get into zombies. I'll probably still play the map and enjoy it. But definitely looks no where near as fun as Terminus.
Easy small map doesn't excuse it to look like mp warzone look at classified town or the giant.
It's a regular fucking town in West Virginia not a research station for Nazis not outer space not in a different dimension a regular fucking town being overran by zombies it is not hard to understand anyone with a functioning brain can understand why does map doesn't look like fucking Revelations just pay attention to the fucking story
The beta is okay, SBMM and EOMM is in the beta and there's lag, the leveling of guns is very slow.
How am I supposed to get zombie camos unlocked then?
