I like the look of this amp a lot. Wanted a Mkii 200 watter but they seem to have dried-up, and this puts out 200W with no external speaker. I am not crazy about the angled back because that is weird to me (I am old and amps used to be rectangular). I am also not crazy about Made in China but that's life these days. So how is the build quality as far as knobs, tolex, etc? Is it plywood or particle board? Thanks in advance!
@mr.iowegian hi, you can set it upright if you don't want the angled projection. The build quality is pretty good, better than Fender Rumble and Ampeg Rocket. The knobs just feel more premium. My only complain is that the mute button is not accompanied by LED, so it's not obvious when you muted or unmuted. Wood is plywood. Tolex is of good quality.
