Wow! This video resonated with me on so many levels. Thank you for your authenticity and getting into the details of your journey. So many people always share the TLDR, but that doesn't really communicate the nuances and details of their journey. I had a similar professional experience from my internship at a fashion PR to my career in media. I worked so hard, and yet the outcome didn't match my effort, and I decided to start my own business. Starting my own business has been deeply satisfying, rewarding, and validating. It also has its challenges, but I prefer my business challenges to corporate politics and microgressions. I also had a wayward tax accountant and believe that life is about synergy. My word is alignment. Thank you again for the share! ❣

I moved to NYC with my now husband back in 2015 to work on the corporate side of luxury retail, and I have since taken steps away from that space. I’ve been trying to carve out an entrepreneurial path forward for myself.
I think we’re the same age (I am also a Virgo) and I understand the worries about having children. My friends have really been helping me feel more secure in my journey though.

I am the last of four children, but I also have a half-sister. She and I were born the same year, but in different months-she’s October and I’m December. I really love fashion; it’s my go-to when I’m feeling down or stressed. Watching videos of hauls or influencers like you curating looks makes me happy and gives me fashion inspiration. I’m also an introvert, and one pet peeve is seeing clothes tossed on the floor.

Thanks so much for transparent, I am 42 years old with a 3 year and love it. It was not easy getting pregnant in my 30s. I have to go to the doctors and get tested to find out I had low overian reserve and had to see a fertility doctor. I got healthy physically and mentally. I then changed my diet to vegetarian, and with all the changes to my diet and taking vitamins, I was blessed with my miracle child. I would suggest going to get tested now. Don't wait a year like i did to get tested. Between me trying to get pregnant on my own, testing, etc, 3 years passed before my healthy pregnancy. ❤ Love you cookies!

Now I am figuring out what’s next since I am only 55. I am actually taking an online fashion styling course with FIT! Who knows what the future holds!

I’m in a long distance new relationship with a army service man who I met online, I was a little well a lot skeptical trying to make it work and at first trusting he was a real person but we got through that. He has been deployed since March and won’t be home until Nov. I love the color red, I want to be a RUclips fashion content creator but I’m afraid to start. Haitian parents. They did the very best they could with whatever they knew. Perfect? Hell naw. Trauma? For sure. But done with love as selflessly as the could muster. I’ll take that any day. But as much as they want better for their kids there is unspoken resentment that is no joke. And what makes immigrant parents so incredible is that they are visionaries. I'm 45 amd literally the one time in my life that I was laid off from a job my manager was a black woman. I interviewed with her and a yt woman and in the interview she was shitty as hell. I was surprised I got hired. I was let go right under three months.
