Hi steve, i hope all is well with the preparations for the new baby, it must be a collaboration of feelings, as people we experience highs and lows but i lean heavily towards you as an individual whom understands that life isnt always measurable by price tags or status(even though there not bad) i may be wrong but if i was to try to pt myself in ur shoes i would imagine that the race for 1 million gave drive and once such a brilliant achievement was reached it did not leave much passion,,, i may be wrong but i only base my opinion on the frequency of content,, and with no disrespect to any of ur close family, i hope u just post more IRL content because you r a great creator, your last few years videos have not.been bad but jst miss that youtobe collab/drama that feeds many mouths these days… steve cook may be recieving less views than 8 years ago however i am sure if steve chose that it was important in his mind to be popular to strangers he could do it easily as previously shown. Steve your hitting the ball pretty good but there is no way that you are a 7 handicap golfer when you leave your shots short and slice your driver sometimes and also you should not be playing the tips at all in any way until you can consistently hit the ball straight and be able to put your approach shots on the green and at least make par on each hole or better. Other than that I do give you a A+ on your looks on the course and the equipment you play. Keep practicing and you will get even better at the game. Have fun buddy.
You’re right I’m not a 7, I’m a 6.6 now. My GIR and drove distance is that of a + handicap. The putting is the only thing lacking. If you keep stats feel free to use this round as evidence
@swoldiernation Okay I see so when you slice the ball or miss hit your approach shot it doesn't count against your handicap status. I see so I guess you don't count those shots then I can see that your handicap is low. But I think that your much higher than a 6.6 and you shouldn't play from the tips until you are consistent on your drives and second shots onto the green. You really have to work on your putting sorry to say it really sucks but other than that your a pretty good golfer just still a lot of work to do!!!
@swoldiernation I sure do but I think that you are misunderstanding how the handicap system works because again Steve your a really good guy and you are smart at what you do for your living and I respect that from you and I hope that you succeed even further and I think that you will but don't get mad but you are nowhere in any way a 6.6 handicap golf player and should not be playing the tips at any golf course you play until you can consistently hit the ball without slicing and get your approach shots and especially your putting in control then I could see you in single digits. There is nothing to be embarrassed about moving up to the front tees until you improve and then you can move back one tee deck at a time and not just play the tips right away. Baby steps and watch it pay off!!
