I will never understand how this song fails to win the public in Eesti Laul 2020! This song is introspective and intimate. You can hear how much effort Jaagup has put in instrumentation and melody. This could easily contend to be the winner and Estonians have really missed out a gem here.

Feel like it is kind of a hybrid between Billie Eilish's ''When the party is over'' and last year's winner ''Arcade''. But I mean, that is what makes it good, both are masterpieces.
Actually this was written way before arcade and party's over were released. Songs in a same time period tend to have similarities in style and might have a few cliche lines. So honestly all this comparisson is baseless. Jaagup put a solid song this year. Last year Estonia should've gone with "Pretty little liar" instead of "Storm" which was ok i guess, but severely lacking as an eurovision song :D

But one should not forget about trends, genre features, inspiration, references, and so on. In fact, it is very difficult to find something truly unique and interesting nowadays. Especially in popular music and Eurovision. At least the performance of this song was more enjoyable to watch than the winning one.

The first time I heard this, I didn't get the hype. Now that I listened again, it grows in me. The staging is the one thing that will determine whether this will fail or win.
It is not quite the same as Billies song. There are some simmilar stuff, emotions... But it is a song of its own. I like it the most from all the songs that are in contest for ESC 2020 from all countries. You should note that u probably cant write music that is 100% unheard, there is not as many notes. This song has like 80% and that is great enough for me at least. It just reminds on Billies song. Hope it qualifies.

This song has lots of potential in Eurovision if it´s treated correctly and has a nice show on stage... I would also recommend to cut those silent parts of the song where there´s no singing and focus on those strong parts with maybe some innovative lighting effects.
