Where did you pick the axle up from and how much?! Does it have the limited slip diff? Thinking about doing this to my tj eventually too!

I had been scouring Craigslist and Facebook for quite a while and finally came across it. $200 which was about $50 more than i usually see them for but it was the correct gear ratio, Limited slip and disc brakes. I couldnt pass it up. came from a local guy to me who had a tree fall on his explorer!!

I think they come in a wide range of ratios since the explorer and sport-trac were built for so long. I have seen them in 4.10, 3.55, 3.73, 3.07, etc. those are the also the basic TJ ratios so it may just take some searching.

cvsahara thats true. When are you posting the fab and welding vid! Ive used some of your vids in the past as reference when im working on my tj.

I will be doing the actual measuring and welding a week from this coming Tuesday. It will take me a couple of days after that to edit and post the video so I would expect it to be posted in about a week and a half. I'll also be posting the front end steering rebuild videos on the grand cherokee around that time.
