This might be a harsher opinion but I was never a fan of the 17bucks mods not because of the simplicity but just because the music isn't very good and gets very repetitive and annoying. The only song I liked in the official 17bucks mod was the tutorial song.. But the song eddhead in this mod was a nice change out of a lot of the other music theory-less, out of tune filler. I can't say all of the other songs are out of tune filler but a lot of them have vocals that just need a lot of work.
