Buying my scores from myFICO was the only way I could see and understand what home loan officers and auto loan officers were saying my score was...even though those same lenders will ask you "what's credit karma say" knowing good and well that's not what they're pulling...

I have been a member of myfico for a year, it is absolutely worth it. They give you a ton of information and help you to show what lenders are really looking for. My mother has a 715 vantage score and a 600 fico 8 TU. Vantage gives a ball park but no real lenders use it, if you want to stop being broke and having no borrowing power sign up, fix your issues and get to those bonus's!! I should also add I am a credit freak and yes this isn't for everyone and if you rarely use credit I wouldn't waste the $. I just really like their credit monitoring and other features. I don't know if I will keep this forever but for the next year or so I will.

Major banks will look at your income more then your credit score. You could have perfect credit but if your income is to low compared to your household debt such as rent etc you will be declined. I personally have a 806 with Equifax and 799 with transunion and the major banks will not approve me based on the fact my rent is 1500 my auto loan is 343 and I only make $33,050 a year. Debt to income ratio is the main factor to being approved from a major bank, your instant approval credit card companies are way easier to get then a major bank. If you have same issue as me your best to only apply to private credit cards such as capitol one etc

FICO scores are a good purchase if you're looking to get a loan in the near term and you want to get an idea where you stand in terms of interest rate potential. On the other hand, having to pay $39.95 a month is just too much for a score that doesn't move at times for months. Most credit card companies will give you free access to your base FICO score which is enough.

The way I look at it, if you can personally afford the myFICO subscription, then do it. I pay $44/month for mine and I love because I get to see my true score unlike CreditKarma. When I file disputes CreditKarma will show that it has been removed, but it would still show on myFICO. Then myFICO alerts me ASAP stating that a negative account has been removed. Which is good because if I’m applying for a credit card or a car loan, I want to make sure I look clean as possible on paper. Overall, this is a great video! 🙌🏾

FICO® Score 8 is the FICO® Score version most widely used by lenders. This what Myfico uses !!! Credit Karma doesn’t offer FICO® credit scores, which are calculated differently from VantageScore credit scores. While the three major credit bureaus collaborated to create the VantageScore model, FICO is a separate organization with its own scoring models...So not the same mine is showing a 46 point on just one wayyyyyy off.

It shows you some of the other FICO scores for Experian, but not for the other two.

Ruben Chavez Actually that’s not correct. The initial trial gives you access to DAILY score changes for Experian only, and monthly for Equifax and Transunion. When I tried it last month, I received all 3 Fico 8 scores from the three bureaus, and Experian went further by including all their multiple versions of Fico (that updated daily) for the remainder of the month. And all this was after I had canceled my 7-day trial that same day I had signed up for it! Amazing deal!

Also, one question .... I know my bankcard score is 610 which isnt good yet ..I started 9 weeks ago in the 544 range so I'm working on my credit, however the new card I got approved for said my experian score was 638 and no where anywhere viewing my FICO score subscription is it that high . Dr.Tech / Credit Karma, Privacy Guard, and Wallet Hub, all use the VANTAGE 3-Score Model. Set in motion in 2005-2006, by an agreement of the three top tier Credit Bureau’s: Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax. / However, it’s the FICO 8 model, since 1986 that is most prevalently used by 98% of the Bankers, Lenders, and Credit Issuers in the US. / Credit Karma and such sites, even Experian-do cross Marketing to entice their consumers, to apply with their affiliate Credit issuers. Be very alert, and weary-as those are very incestuous relationships, especially Credit Karma and all it’s advertising companies on their website. Same for Exp and Wallet Hub-this is how their Portal Access is kept, “FREE.”

not sure, i am not a Credit Karma user. CK is VantageScore, though. and not FICO, so i assume there would be a few noticeable differences.

Yeah they are worth millions but not to you, to them how much did you pay to get your own credit score? Now multiply that by the number of people who have to pay to see their own credit score of FICO or whatever the hell they are called now a days!

I recommend a very good specialist Michael Gibbs [Gibbs@creditpatchup.com] who helped me so much to improve my credit score and removed all negative items that I didn’t want. My score was 510 and after 9 days it was boosted to 790. I was very pleased and desire to share this with the world. I was not sure he would actually do it because I have been scammed twice. He told me all I need to do which I humbly did without hesitating in less than a week I saw the miraculous job, I couldn’t believe it. And I got a mail from credit bureau confirming the good job he did. Contact email [Gibbs@creditpatchup.com] Cheers.
