It's so hard isn't it, I've had breast cancer twice now and chemo twice it's the worse feeling 😢 and I'm now on herceptin once every 3 weeks and a daily tablet for 10 years called Letrozole, so I hope it keeps it away but the fear doesn't go away. God bless you hun ❤❤
Love your honesty I’m with you the thing with breast cancer is it does come back I hate it when people say oh it’s a good cancer no cancer is a good cancer …. ❤
Amanda’s video popped up on my feed. Even though I’ve watched this video when she first posted it I watched it again because I realized how much I missed seeing her. To Amanda’s girlfriend Kayla, I know you must really miss her and I just wanted to say I hope you’re doing ok. Amanda was a special person. 🤗❤️🦋
A few weeks will be one year. These past few months have been really hard but I’ll be spending July 30th in Daytona reminiscing on our last trip together 🫶 thank you for remembering her and commenting. I check here often just to still feel a part of her RUclips community
I know all too well the journey that you're on - I was diagnosed with stage 3B non-Hodgkin's lymphoma when I was 29. I had been married to my husband just over a year at that point. I literally thought I was having a heart attack at work (I'm a RN). It took me an hour & a half to get to the ER at the hospital I was working at because I was feeling like I couldn't breathe with every step I took. Nobody bothered to help me or see if I was OK. Pretty incredible, I know, but that's southern California for you. My charge nurse actually thought I was faking to get out of work. The way I found out about the cancer was an ER doc just coming in & saying "That large mass in your chest couldn't be anything but cancer" & walked out. No explanation, no nothing. I ended up with the primary tumor being in front of my heart & left lung, with a corkscrew extension wrapping around my aorta five or six times, hence the problems with breathing. There never is a good time for cancer, but this diagnosis was given three weeks before Xmas. I started chemo less than a week before Xmas. I spent 99% of Xmas Eve praying to the porcelain god. 🙄 I told my husband he could divorce me, because I thought I was going to d-i-e. He was smart & stayed. We're going to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary this year in August. I also know about the Red ☠. It honestly looked like Kool-aid to me. I had to sign a paper saying that I acknowledged that this part of the chemo (there were three other drugs - I forgot their names) could only be given once in a lifetime, & would most certainly cause cardiac damage. I had 6 rounds of this, 6 rounds of antibody treatment, followed by 25 zaps of radiation. Without going into specifics, I ended up firing my first oncologist (who was an absolute POS) after chemo, then had to pick another one for radiation. My point is this. ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF. The doctors are there to keep you alive, not improve their golf game. If something's bothering you, or you're having side effects, speak tf up - nobody's going to do it for you. I went into remission after chemo was completed, but still had the ⚡️of radiation since it was the aggressive form of that cancer. I had my daughter (through IVF) five years AFTER I was told I would never be able to get pregnant as a result of the cancer. She's now 15, & thankfully healthy as a horse. #FUCKCANCER
Your story is a difficult one to hear! I’m in the middle of being treated for stage 2 breast cancer as well. A reoccurance is what we all fear. It’s not fair 😢 Hugs to you and your loved ones. Keep fighting!!!
I pray that the treatment works and that you get to go into a remission too. It's such a scary time but just notice the signs and early detection will be a life savior ❤❤
Hey Amanda it's your baby sis Tay, love you so much. You've always been the strongest person I've known. I'm happy that you're posting RUclips videos and sharing your story. I'll definitely be part of your notification squad. 🩷🥺 Can't wait to see you again and play some more games.
My God ! My heart aches so badly hearing your journey , you’re so young , my baby’s age ( daughter) . You’re so strong and courageous , for being able to explain this ordeal to us . This video will strongly help others that’s going through this journey as well . I can only imagine your mom, wife and the rest of your family 🙏🏾. Thank you so much for taking your time to share with us ❤️❤️❤️🥰🙏🏾

I’m just starting to watch your journey, unfortunately I’m watching it backwards. I’m so very sorry for your loss and what you had to go through. Watching you both on your wedding day and knowing just a year later that this awful journey began.. so not fair . I am sending you hugs and love . ❤
I am a retired RN. I worked in the Breast Cancer Department. I am not in any way giving medical advice. The long-term survivors were the ladies who were 70++. These ladies had radical mastectomy as treatment! It is scary, but, they were still living their best lives!! **ding** for ME!! Radical Mastectomy for me if I ever develop Breast Cancer. These elderly women had chest areas that were absolutely absent of breast tissue, but, they were ALIVE and living beautiful lives! We had been following them for 20++ years.
As a breast cancer survivor I dell a strong connection mine spread to the lymph nodes thank you for sharing your very terrible experience much love and prayers from Canada ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
My heart goes out to you. Your story is difficult to hear, but encouraging to hear in the way that if I think I am having a bad day because of petty and insignificant events, considering your situation gives me pause to realize how blessed I am by my small problems. I hope that telling your story gives you encouragement and healing. Many people will see and have healing wishes for you. All the best to you and your lovely wife
Ok. Auntie Beaver is here with y’all for the journey. I follow many people fighting cancer. You’ve only made one cancer video so far, so I’ll give you a preface as to what’s coming.
