From Good Times to the early 80s, he was at his dynamite best! Sorry, J.J... I was too young to watch these episodes and era; In my day, I don't remember the show without a maid; still, Arnold was at his best then and the writing was better then, too(if these episodes are any indication). Haven't seen many DS episodes in syndication, but I have seen Gary on GT in syndication and Gary was at the top of his game!

Between the bicycle man, Arnold and his sister getting kidnapped by that psycho photographer, after hitchhiking, and now this . Boy, the Drummond family really goes through a lot. I swear this series had more very special episodes than any other sitcom in the 80s.
Shannon Presby who played Eddie is now a Head Deputy DA in LA for the Cyber Crimes division. Sal Lopez who played Roberto is still acting and is the founder of The Latino Theatre Company.
I understand where Drummond is coming from , but I also understand Willis , he went down to the school to protect Arnold & Dudley , Too Bad Willis didn't bring a few friends from the old neighborhood back in Harlem
There was a blooper, Arnold had been skipping school for three days but when Willis asked him why he said The bullies came to school today and demanded not only the sandwiches but two dollars apiece too, only Arnold wasn't at school "today" that happened days ago!
@@lorimiller4301 I love the Brady Bunch too, it's still my favorite comfort show! I watch it all the way through every once in a while. Right now I've been watching them on Facebook video.
I always wondered -- Willis has friends he can call for backup on those two if he wanted to go that route. Definitely could have avoided that hospital trip!!
Yeah there are a ton of holes in this storyline, like simply staying inside and eating in the cafeteria to avoid the bullies, but all of these sitcoms had major holes in order to convey serious subject matter. If the storyline was a realistic scenario to portray the problem, it wouldn’t have been a family comedy.
I love this Classic Tv Series, see we need more of these shows on television today!!! These programmes have good morals and examples of life awkward situations that the youth can relate to...

This goes to show that bullying has been a problem for a long time. In this day and age, I guess someone would wear a small camera in order to catch these types of people. TY for sharing this episode. God Bless You & stay safe.
If I was Willis I would’ve went and gotten all of my boys from back in Harlem Bubba, Charles, Tiny, and Vernon and came back to the school with them and we would’ve beat the living crap out of Eddie and Roberto for messing with Arnold and Dudley I thought Willis would’ve did that in this episode all the boys he had back up in Harlem.

This had to be before I was old enough to watch, because this is by far the best 2 episodes I have seen. They had some quality episodes, but these 2 are a cut above any that I've seen. Like watching Gary on Good Times(in syndication).
Why can't Arnold have a snack when he comes home from school? I hate how Mr. Drummond and the others refuse to let him have a snack and act like he is doing something wrong. Also what's up with Drummond saying he had a “huge” lunch. They gave poor Arnold a peanut butter sandwich which he didn't even like.
First off that wasn't just a snack that was a feast he was about to throw down on and for all they knew he already ate and dinner was cooking. Secondly, we only saw a sandwich but they obviously packed him more than that and the bullies took it all. Try actually watching the show.
"We wanna nab them for extortion" Sandwich extortion? They'll be doing some serious time on that one right there they better get a seriously good attorney.
Willis should have come back like Bruce Lee in one movie and say I come for my revenge. They say you'll just get more bruises. And Willis say no. You'll be the ones who gets the bruises this time.
They also went to an art museum, rode the Staten Island ferry and went to the zoo. Not bad considering Arnold and Dudley had only 15 dollars between them.😂
1st of all in today's society they wouldn't have been able to just walk in a elementary school an bully little kids 🤷🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️without being noticed 2grown men
Did they not serve hot lunch at the kids, school? Arnold Drummond should have a lunch box. Dudley's family was working class, so his paper bag is understandable.
My question is why didn't Arnold and Dudley just go eat their Lunch in the Cafeteria?🤷♀️🤔 Willis should have brought along one of his big jock football buddies or have the Principal with him. Why did he think he could take on two guys by himself?🤦♀️
It was an error in this movie when he tested the tape recorder, Willis said I'll be right with you but when he checked the recorder, it says I'll be right with you Arnold
