Your voice is super chill. Really calms me down and allows me to tackle this problem with a little more confidence.

I have an identical Toyota Sienna sir. And I appreciate any videos about 2000 Sienna LE, I just subscribed to your channel. You're a good man, my wife and I are learning to diy our vehicle. Also appreciate your info on plastic button clips.

1st generation Sienna, the mode knob has been getting stiffer and stiffer in the winter, and now it won't stay in defrost, it springs back to defrost/floor (all the other settings work). Lubricating the mechanism didn't help. The part of the mechanism toward the rear of the van doesn't move at all. Too far gone, or I'm not lubricating the correct place? If I turn the knob past a certain point (defrost/floor), the control wire starts bending.

Sounds like a personal problem given the fact that most of us understood. Maybe work on your listening skills
