Been to Detroit many times...Love its 1920's to present skyline!
My first time in Detroit Thank you for watching.
Detroit is definitely better than New York City. 😊
@@andrewfrantz5502👍
Detroit has made one hell of a comeback that's for sure ! I'm 64 and have lived here all my life 😊 and it warms my heart to witness just how far Detroit has come ! I'm also a diehard Lions fan ? And to witness the season they had last year was absolutely amazing. One win from the Superbowl 😊 was awesome !
Yes. Lions did great this season and for the city. Hoping to venture more around soon.
Detroit hasnt made no come back.😂😂😂Its worse than it was in the past.
Never been to Detroit nor do I have any relatives in Michigan but always felt like I left my heart in Detroit 😢
That was my first time, and I was positively surprised.
this was soooo soothing
Thank you very much
I would agree with most posters here, this was a wonderful drone video of the city. I too have never been to Detroit but see what an amazing comeback this city is doing, it's a strong city that been through so much, I intend to visit soon and possibly consider relocating. Cheers to the people of Detroit.
I liked it. Will be back soon.
Love those views. Nice weather day when drone caught those shots! Great music also! 🛩💯💯💯
Glad you enjoyed. Compared to today's crappy weather, it was gorgeous . Thanks
Excellent footage. Closeups following the music. I hope for more.
I hope so too:) Thanks for the compliments. I am glad you liked it.
Downtown Detroit is really starting to look amazing. I'm glad that newer, taller buildings are being constructed. As a kid I could never understand why Detroit was so small compared to Chicago, with buildings so low to the ground.
This was my first visit so I couldn't compare but I liked it.
@@chrisbiela I've never been to Detroit at all. 😂I only know what I've seen from movies and photos, but it looks a lot better now, at least downtown does.
@@44excalibur Ah. Ok. Downtown looks really impressive with the mixture of old buildings and modern construction. It is growing :)
@@chrisbiela Yep, Downtown Detroit is vastly improved. Too bad that once you leave downtown, outer Detroit looks like The Walking Dead.
@@44excalibur Absolute bullshit. There are other vibrant areas outside of the downtown detroit core. Probably never visited or too lazy to do any research. If you need a listing would happy to share....or that may go against the negative stereotype buried in your brain.
Very cool footage
Thank you very much
Newest member of the playoffs🦁
Hope so.
They just got the top spot in the NFC tonight!
@@calebhardy9464Allright 👍
Super Bowl here comes the Detroit Lions 🦁 to Las Vegas.
Absolutely beautiful, thank you. Was that freighter Indiana Harbor or American Integrity?
Not sure which one. Thanks for the compliments.
AMAZING
Thank you
Detroit, Michigan ❤
👍👍👍
the melancholic music tells a lot but Detroit is coming back
I don't think it is melancholic. I think it goes well with a slow pace of drone footage, not to the city vibe. Of course it is my opinion and I respect yours.
you are right, maybe it is just me in a melancholic mood rather. I enjoyed the video very much, unique angles and crystal clear bird view. Detroit❤
@ernokirnyan9984 I liked filming Detroit. Planning to come back and venture out more.
My home town been away since 2008 but I'll be back in 2025 to live work and retire in Detroit
That is a short-term plan. I like Detroit. Good luck 👍
As you were born there, tell me, are Michigan/Detroit that ugly state full of poverty and drugs, and ghost towns as some people make it looks like? I mean of course i've seen many videos of there and yes i saw some 'ghost' neighborhoods, houses falling apart, dirty places but i don't think it all about that right?
@@gabrielsr4791 it's not that way anymore has not been for a long time
@@danielszabo7548 well it's really good to know this!
wow North American cities are incredible
Yes. I agree.
Mr Chris Place some subtitles during the video telling the story of each town hall Please
@@claudairsocoll Interesting idea. I will think about it.
Beautiful work, how tall is that new skyscraper going to be? LOVE IT.
I think 800 feet?
Good question!
Cool
The new building was originally supposed to be over 900 feet but it got scaled back to 687 feet because of the effects of the pandemic on the need for office space.
@@Mark-oy1wv Thanks Mark.
I ❤ detroit 😊❤❤❤ and a great place to live and work🙂😁
I am starting to know it more. Interesting city.
Do u live there
How much for a video
Only 15 years left to go
That's a long time.
@@chrisbiela I know. And that's because i'm referencing Detroit: Become Human which sets in 2038
@@FireNetherite14Ah. Cool.
Never been but sounds like it will make a great comeback with the love of its people yes there good and bad in cities across america but noone ever talks about all the good because crime sells that is a small part of our country and cities its concentrated in ceryltain smaller areas no whole city is crime infested
@andrewsmith5159 It is coming back. Crime is in every city. Big or small. I try to expose good part. That's all.
@@chrisbiela your rite about that I live in Harrisburg Pa small city with a little more crime then it should but its becoming very vibrant God bless you and the city of Detroit
@andrewsmith5159 I know Harrisburg PA. I have been there ,like 25 years ago. Used to have a good friend living in the city. Had fun time in Hersey. Planning to film it someday as well.
Nice to see Detroit making a slow comeback after 2013... Sad still that it never attracts tourists, as facilities are lacking, and crime is still high from what i've heard. Outstanding work as always Chris ! Music is also on point with the city atmosphere and being so abandoned in many areas, where once had full of life.
New high-rise construction in the middle of downtown is a good sign of comeback. It was my first visit to Motor City and I liked it very much. Thanks
Tourism has exploded in Detroit. It was named to Time Magazine’s top 50 must see places in the World. You sound like so many people who just assume that Detroit is still what it was 25 years ago. True, many inner city neighborhoods aren’t the best but downtown Detroit is gorgeous now
It's worse here in Chiraq downtown Detroit looks great
Are you nuts? Downtown/ Central is awesome! I just visited there!
@@mikeslaton6498 never been there. All what i wrote is from friends perspective (2016 times)
