I can see that. Khorn would be less mad if Skarbrand had taken his axes and tried to drive them both into the God's head.
Agrees. It was very tzeenchian to attack from behind. And due to the rules of the great game Khorne can't get revenge on Tzeench so skarbrand gets punished
If he had done it from the front Khorne would have proudly exclaimed, “That’s my boy!” Then beat Skarband to a pulp for being a soft pansy loser who did 0dmg.
I think I rember from a lore video that he wasn't mad from the betrayal he was mad he did it in such a cowardly way
most likely, I'm pretty sure Khorne's endgame is one of his followers/daemons kills him and takes his place, since he always wants them to challenge the next strongest person and eventually khorne himself is the only one left, but only a cowardly sorcerer attacks from the back

@@JoshSweetvale because there isn't a single god in the fantasy universe who was able to give him even a fragment of a challenge. When he fought Tzeentch, he punched him so hard that all hes knowledge was fragmented. And it wasn't even that fucking hard. Thats the reason Khorne doesn't fight

To my knowledge, nobody has ever beaten skarbrand, period. Not in fantasy, not in 40k. I think he's been beaten once by like an entire army of guardsmen in 40k, but they all died for it and he just walked it off

Khorne already "forgave" skarbrand a long time ago, but skarbrand into busy simping for khorne and trying to earn forgiveness to realize it.

This is one of the reasons I'm really *REALLY* looking forward to TWW3. I can't even begin to imagine what "A Noob's Guide to Build-a-Demon-Prince" is gonna look like, but I am eager to find out.
My understanding is that Skarbrand has choked up on the axes for when he gets even closer than melee range. Which is indeed possible.
I love how he runs up to people and kicks them like a soccer ball.
If Skarbrand had a sense of justice, he would be the perfect Red Lantern.
They really nailed the theme with Khorne. All of its tools and mechanics encourage you to be a merciless, relentless savage. Settlements are cheap and easy to spawn, so don't waste your valuable time colonizing ruins; just go make more ruins. No one can offer you anything better than their skulls, so don't bother with diplomacy. You replenish troops even while you're in foreign territory and your encamp stance doesn't have a movement penalty, so no need to sit in your territory to recuperate after taking a town. And you get huge movement bonuses for killing armies and taking settlements, so never stop pushing forward on the front line.

So, Skarbrand is Steppenwolf from Zack Snyder's Justice League? An exiled hulking brute who conquers for his boss because he just wants to come home. They even kind of look alike. Note: I'm not saying one copied the other. I think it's fun that they have some similarities, if you squint a bit.

Skarbrand's mechanics sounds a bit like an upgraded version of Taurox's..... and I'm here for all of it.

Watching Skarbrand just sort of kick the enemies over and not have them explode into blood and gore feels... Wrong. Hopefully we get a Blood for the Blood God pack soon, game feels empty without everyone popping open
Couple points
1. It's "choke" up, not "chock" up, a chock is something the stops wheels
2. If Skarbrand were to choke up anymore he'd be holding the head of the axe.

I'd never thought I'd hear the phrase 'Redbull Enema', but we've gone to this blursed place.
What I heard from other channels is that Khorn wasn't angry at Skarbrand for attempting to kill him. He was pissed that he attacked him in the back, sneaky, like a coward.
To me, I find it odd that he's capable of normal speech in-game when I imagine him to be just a screaming, roaring, mindless killing machine, yet he isn't. Even Taurox sounds calm when approached by lesser warherds in game 2 when he asks if they've come to pay tribute, but Skarbrand to me seems just cold when he isn't killing. Then again, I've yet to watch a livestream or video involving a Skarbrand playthrough...

I find it hard with him with keeping his bloodletting up without cheeseing it of repeatedly attacking one settlement, and waiting troops to heal after settlement attacks towers do so much damage, and sooo many kinda wish they would send out armys if u go near there land and it cost less movement cost in your own land to help getting around
On my firsr skarbrand playthrough i was foolish enough to declare war with the sand skeletons and i tried to siege a settlement and found out it had a full army stationed in it. I ran away but they chased me and destroyed me. Got wiped out in 7 turns 😭😭😭. Good guide tho, literally got the game a few days ago so its still a big learning curve as this is basically my first time ever playing a rts game. Will definitely keep that “basically raze every settlement instead the main one” in the back of my head :)

"This axes are 40k lore..." Brah you can get a chain sword from Krone's relm as a temp weapon. When there is not model it is flat out stated it's a chainsaw sword as it roars to life, cutting with teeth... At lest something like that. I do question if Total warhammer will end up with a 40k version as a test
To be fair, that chainsword did appear in Warhammer Fantasy roleplay back in like 2007.

Something I don't understand: If Skarbrand was exiled then why do other demons follow him? Or why do other people of Chaos follow him? Shouldn't they be scared of Khorne's wrath for doing so?
They're just his groupies along for the ride and to collect a few skulls along the way. Khorne does not care from whence the blood flows after all. He's like a greater daemon version of Forrest Gump, people just started following him without him asking.
