My friend just had just made a fresh pot of tea she was letting it steep in the metal teapot. Her 2 year old quick as a flash says "straw" and sucked up on the spout and severely burned his mouth and throat. It happened sooo fast. He spent at least a week in the hospitol. His mom was a nurse so she was able to care for him. It took awhile but, he recovered. Stuff happens even to good mom's. The whole tiny humans with minds of their own affect.

Needless to say I woke up one morning walk to the hallway looks in my right where the kitchen was and my son had climbed the baby gate emptied out the entire refrigerator eggs, spaghetti sauce, coffee, whatever was in the refrigerator as well as the pots and pans in the kitchen and he smeared all over my brand-new dinet ant the rug and the floors everything and he said to me I cooka you breakfast mama. And I sat down in my chair covered with spaghetti sauce called my mother told her to get my friend to get a housekeeper get the steam vac and guess in my apartment now LOL
Home slice had that coffee everywhere…🤣😂🤣😂. And, when he shook his little head yes, when mom asked if he wanted more…he a gonna have a caffeine addiction by two…lol. He’s too cute!!!
When i wasn't much bigger than him my grandma used to pour her coffee in a saucer to cool. Then she'd tell me to blow it to cool it down and I'd drink it out of the saucer. Mom would get so mad at her. I still love coffee to this day with tons of cream and sugar just like her.. Some of my favorite memories of my grandma involve coffee.. 🙃
My grandfather introduced me to coffee. It was strong stuff too. My grandma would brew it on the stove in a percolator and it would get stronger the longer it stood. My mom says I started around 8 months old. I miss papa
