Most of the sprites here are around five years old when this released. Capcom was getting cheap and lazy. It wouldn't have hurt if they added said animations on Rogue. Just look at Kirby in Smash. All it takes is some dedication.
If Rogue stole Street Fighter III moves... Alex: Flash Chop and Hyper Bomb Yun: Zesshou Houou and Sorai Rengeki Dudley: Cross Counter and Corkscrew Blow Ibuki: Tsumuji and Yoroitoshi Oro: Niou Riki and Yagyou Dama Sean: Tornado and Hadou Burst Necro: Electric Blaster and Magnetic Storm
I find it interesting that everyone of these demonstration videos, everyone keeps forgetting about Rogue’s second hyper combo. Mainly as it’s situational. You can only have ONE hyper bar and use the team hyper combo. This will let her do the rapid punch hyper combo on her own. This is also the same for Servbot’s high chip damaging hyper combo.
Thats because the fools that keep uploading without including that move are not really gamers. Anyone that really played this game would know about that move.
This was the culmination of Capcom's cheapness on animation of characters from 1995 to 2000. They even reused Wolverine twice with some changes on the claws. Even War Machine was just a recolored Iron Man. Great game though.
Fond memories of playing Cable (super cheap), Iron Man and B. B. Hood (for the assists) and cheesing the game with a simple infinite combo: 3 hard punches (with Cable, this equates to three quick shots with his pistol; if the enemy manages to close in enough, they might sustain an extra hit from the barrel of the gun), followed by Assist A (usually Iron Man, big beam, 3 hits), followed by either Viper Beam (big beam, 5 hits; has a bit of a wind-up time, so the previous assist is particularly useful) if the enemy is on the ground or Psymitar (anti-air type, 4-5 hits), followed by Assist B, as Assist A is probably still on cool-down, and both of the previous options have a bit of a recovery time, and back to the top. Even Abyss was a push-over, provided I survived the second form (IMO, the hardest of the three), as the last form quickly fell before the might of the combined 3 specials (Hyper Viper Beam, Proton Cannon and whatever the one with the hunters and the bombs and that; all together, usually good for 120+ hits).
Here lacks the "Cross-Over Combination Only" Super from Rogue, Zangief and Silver Samurai, as Well as the power Drain Variants for Super Armor Characters (Orange Bar: Hulk, Sentinel, Juggernaut without his power-up, Silver: Colossus with Super Armor super and Silver Samurai with His Super Armor Super after make the command of Ice Katana 3 or 4 times, Black: Mech-Zangief), and finally, the Super Armor skill from Silver Samurai, activated after make the Ice Katana Command 3 or 4 times.
you missed 3 Rouge , Silver Samurai and Zangief, if you press both assist buttons, it will execute a super Rouge - Rapid Punch Zangief - Lariat Silver Samuria - Rapid Sword
Imagine if Rogue stole everyone's move in MVC2...the animations the developers would have to do.
If they make a new one and she returns, she could especially be the Kirby of the MVC games

Just exists a problem: for example, which powers will steal to Iron Man, War Machine or Jill? Just to mention some of them...
If Rogue stole Street Fighter III moves...
Alex: Flash Chop and Hyper Bomb
Yun: Zesshou Houou and Sorai Rengeki
Dudley: Cross Counter and Corkscrew Blow
Ibuki: Tsumuji and Yoroitoshi
Oro: Niou Riki and Yagyou Dama
Sean: Tornado and Hadou Burst
Necro: Electric Blaster and Magnetic Storm
It be a better game
3:48 this climax took me by surprise, I didn't know you could do this Tyrant combo with the Bazooka,

Tbf war machine is just a reskined iornman suit with extra guns in canon.

There is also a LIFE UP that Rogue can get from characters like Jill and Shuma Gorath which regenerates her health.
@@EchoCedric561 Jill, Shuma-Gorath and Bulleta, and i guess that Servbot, too.
Best game from capcom and marval in ps2
