People always compare this dude to Steve, I disagree. He’s Matt Wright he’s got his own achievements and he’s made a large impact and spread a lot of knowledge. I can’t compare one legend to another he’s awesome
To mr Matt… I’ve just finished watching your series on Netflix’s and I have to say you come across as one of the nicest genuine blokes on TV … your insight into your life and family was truely wonderful and back here in the cold UK took me to another world… I do hope so much you and your family do more TV as the world needs people like you right now.. I was so moved at the end of series to hear about Willow…. this must be tremendously hard for you all.. From an old 60 old man I would just like to say thank you all again and I wish you and your lovely family all the very best..
Time stamp 8:47........an enormous 17 ft crocodile........"that got pushed out of the area by another dominant male croc". Man, I would love to see the size of the one that drove him out of the area.
Properly 18-19 feet and a lot bigger in weight even though if two crocs are 17 feet one can easily weight 200-300 kg more then the other one and by that be dominate even though they have he same size in length
@@mixedpleasure4324 I already know all of that. I've been living here in central Florida, and also been fishing all of our lakes & rivers ( fresh, brackish, and saltwater ) since 1969, and I still do. While our alligators ( and American crocs in south Florida ) do not grow as big, nor are they as aggressive, because of my decades of experience being around them, I know first hand how one 13 ft gator can weigh far more than another 13 ft gator. I've seen 13 ft gators harvested via pernit/tags that weighed only 700 lbs, but I've also seen 13 ft'ers that weighed over half a ton. Seen old photo's and the skull of a 14+ ft'er killed back in the 60's, on the St Johns River near where I live, that weighed 1500 lbs. Take care.

Mr matt. I was wondering.. Does aussie fresh/estuarine and salty crocs related to javanese, phillipines and or Malaysian crocs?or are they slighty different type of species? I've also read that crocs can travel a long way from home and even found croc swimming in the indian ocean and even in the sea of japan.. My respect to you sir for what you are doing..it takes a lot of guts and patience to do what you did..
Check out Ambo Rizka, Mr. Ambo cruising with little boat (LOA 4-6m, Beam 50cm, depth 25-30cm) feeding Rizka (the Indo-Australian crocodile) in the habitat near where he live by the river in East Kalimantan. Mr. Ambo just a simple fisherman with big heart. It's a real story.
I have often wondered to what size a saltie would grow, if they were to feed on wildebeest, zebra, buck and the other variety that Nile crocs dine on...which is pretty much everything that comes down to the waters edge, lions included.
They are indeed. Unfortunately when they do take down wildebeest or zebra they get a single bite or piece the rest is eaten by dozens of other crocs. I would love for there to be Salties in Africa.
The Netflix series was awesome, sad news about his mate. Changed my view on crocs coming from the uk you just think mindless monsters but they are truly magnificent creatures.
why do wanna do that, aren't we close enough already???lol even though i got crocodiles in my area i am not getting near that beast...great video..even though im watching somehow i got butterflies.hehe
G,day Matt love your work would like to met you one day and shake hands but due to my mental health unable to travel so if your around Longreach would like to meet you kind regards Ross Hall

All I know is if there are crocodiles around me I prefer for there to be somebody who speaks with an Australian accent to be around me too
Let the haters hate
i just watched his netfix series and i hope we get more seasons it was so interesting to see.
You won't unfortunately, he basically got his best bud killed a little while after the series was out. I doubt he's still doing this

I thought all Australians wrestled crocodiles?
How has this guy not got millions of subs!
Yeah right
i hear tik tok is where its at
why ? because he got a bad cameraman , footage jumping all around , for god sake........
Because pretending to charge phones from a watermelon is what the kids seem to like rather than real world stuff like this.
