Honestly Scott, I don't think you should worry about racking up miles on the 59. You seem to rotate thru the coral pretty regularly, plus when 37 Chevy is done, you'll be adding that to the rotation. As another comment said, drive it & ENJOY!
Ramcharger will be the panic of car shows. 59 Fury super cool and now we can’t wait to see that nailhead get opened up so the flat top Buick can live again.
Ya know, I've thought a bit about low mileage classics. I figure, if I'm not aiming to ever sell it, then who am I saving it for? Drive and enjoy that sucker. It's what it's for.
@@peteb2304 Absolutely. I can understand and appreciate the desire to steward things like classic cars for posterity, as historical/museum pieces, and future generations, but it's debatable whether those future generations will have any greater appreciation for it, or have any real use for it.
That 59 is a clear reminder that cars used to be art. And not just art you can look at , but it can be driven with and it doesn't feel like a chore. Have a great summer and greetings from Finland!
I love Ramchargers. Over the years I've owned 6, 2 pop-tops and 4 square bodies. '78 had the 400, and full time 4x4, but the '80 was the part time, fully loaded SE. 20 years ago I was searching for another pop-top, preferably another '80. Gave up and settled for a '80 Clubcab Powerwagon. That's a huge score in my books, heard of but never seen one with a bench seat.
The shot of the yellow fins and 'sport deck' out the rear window of the Plymouth was pure cinemascope, Scott. The view would make a great T-shirt. Please twist Dan's arm not to go with the winch front bumper. Chrome front and back bumpers on that rig looks like pure factory goodness.
I've used this show to prove to my wife that 7 Motorcycles are a drop in the bucket compared to some people. A solid public service you're providing :p
Love it! When the originals came out in the 70s I wanted one badly until I found out Chrysler opted for a full time 4WD unit. I forget the name or make of the brand they chose. That was back in the early original gas shortage era and squeezing mpgs was the name of the game. Without the ability to lock out the hubs and turn off the 4WD I wasn't interested. This manual trans beauty is awesome. Nice catch! And seeing your beautiful '59 was once again nostalgic pleasure. I've mentioned my 59 Winter beater I picked up in college fall of 67. A rust belt survivor of the time in Youngstown. I miss that look back via the rear view mirror through those beautiful fins. She was a warm and dependable Winter beater also with the 318 and Torqueflite. What a wonderful era.
Boy that Fury is like stepping into 1959 what a treat The Ram charger brought back memories I helped a friend swap out slanted 6 and put in a V8 it was an easy job
That Ram Charger was a real find! The ASMR value of the gently crunching gravel and the purr of that sweet '59 was off the charts. It's amazing how Alberta went from frozen white to lush green so quickly. Beautiful.
The Dodge Ramcharger, full size Ford Bronco, and Chevy K5 Blazer were ALL true gems of this era. Any of them in good condition today would be excellent for camping or fishing trips and recreational towing duties for an outdoor family getaway. They were great vehicles.
Scott the way you film and direct your channel is A-kin to public t.v. and I personally wouldn't have it any other way. Love the show love the channel. Cheers to you and All of the agents that make it all possible 🍻
Takes me back to my Chrysler Dodge dealer tech days. We never sold those in great numbers but there were a few nice ones that went through the dealership. By 1991 I was considered a seasoned Chrysler tech as I started in 1969. The early 90s were spent elbow deep in the infamous A604 ultradrive electronic front wheel drive transmission. I averaged 6 overhauls a week in those days.
I’ll say you’ve hit the nail on the head Scott. My better half watches your show of her own free will. Sometimes the occasional extra vehicle shows up and she gets worried I’ll just tell her to watch this very episode and listen to what you said. you have helped MAN kind the world over. Although we secretly wish to aspire to your lifestyle.❤️
Worked for a guy who bought a Ram Charger the last year produced in the U.S. I told him I wanted first shot if he sold it.. I bought it in 2001 ! Had it a week , my brother borrowed it to get back to his cattle (very bad road & a foot of snow). He rolled it over a steep hill into the "holler" as we call them... The insurance company totaled it from pictures alone .. The nxt spring we winched it out ... I bought it back from the insurance co for zero dollars because they would'nt even attempt to get it out.. Sold the drive train & junked the body . (My brother wasnt hurt , although it should've been his end). Always wanted another one but they have all been heaps of junk .. But I did find a 1990 K-Blazer I drove for severals years .. But the road salt in the Tenn mtns rotted it horribly & I sold it...
That Ramcharger's rear side window is a nice design, the slight curve to the window gives it that fish bowl look. I believe uncle Tony's garage has a similar looking Ramcharger, dunno what happend with it though... Appreciate another week with the agents good sir's.
Scott, I'm HAPPILY divorced here!! I wish I would have done it sooner!!! FREEDOM & piece of mind!!!!! Enjoy your cars, and your builds !!!!! I enjoy your channel immensely and the content can't be beat!!!! Seeing Franker's supervising is a treat, as well as visiting with all of the agents!!!! Tom is a cool addition too. Hey Tom, how the **** are you doing? Meh, same old **** like with me no doubt. Stay well. Franker's, I didn't see you on the intro today. Are you alright, or just taking a break??? Be well Scott, gotta love that '59 Fury!!!
14:10 Poppy head liner. Support the vets ... Always. Back in 1959 the roads and parking spots must have been more spacious . Trying to maneuver that 59 into a parking spot today would be brutal.
What a beautiful time machine! I hope you get the feeling of going back in time and enjoying the ride the way automobiling was and should be Scott! Just remember to be home by Saturday to drop the next one!😆
My step dad owned a 1976 Ramcharger that was equipped with a four speed, four wheel drive, 440 4 barrel, bright orange with a white removable top.and so forth. I enjoyed it, but it was stolen in ‘79 and never recovered. What a stunning black beauty-crazy nice!
Wow that Ramcharger is a great find! I never realized those came with rocker panels, floors and wheel arches when new! Also, thanks for taking one for the team and making all the other deranged car hoarders look slightly less insane...(I'm just taking a break to type this after dragging a 235 engine block accross my living room floor)
Living in town center with no free parking other than my own lawn around the house (officially frowned upon when used as parking, the only garage with the house being the workshop from day one), I share a subterranean garage with my neighbor who is into old cars enough to add said garage as a private add-on for his collection under a rental he built a couple years ago as his retirement plan ..... having a partner in crime owning enough private and secluded parking spots high enough for a martially looking LandRovers and a random all-wheel-drive VW Vanagon with roofrack between his sportscars to readily house old Citroëns, Alfas and Italian motorcycles in numbers for a fair rent definitely helps - or doesn't help, at all, depending from which view point You might look at it 😂
Hey Kyle! Yeah, I've only ever seen the ones with "rocker delete"! Haha I'll keep doing what I can to help others look less nutty... (although I can't say it'll work for you!)
OMG - the drive by shots of this vehicle are just so sweet! The stance of this old truck is just perfect and so different than any you would find in a modern vehicle! LOVE IT……..❤️❤️❤️
The 59 is suck a lovely car. I liked the Ramcharger too. It looks to be in great condition. Looking forward to the weekends shenanigans. All the best, Mart in England.
I've never seen a manual, much less a bench seat in a ramcharger. What a grgreat find. That's a keeper. Fins and clear steering wheels are still cool. And Scott, you're better off with the cars, no wife and no furniture
Usually every time you go to the GCFCE there's a foot of snow and everything is white. It looks totally different with green trees and grass. It's unbelievable to find such a nice Ramcharger. I figured with the long winters and all the salt that one that old would be rusted to pieces. What a great find for sure. Dan is a great guy and very knowledgble and has a great eye for detail.
Dan procures another Dodge, imagine that, and what a great find it is. The ‘59 is such a superb example of the late 50’s sedans with it’s huge interior and lots of glass. Another fine episode, Scott.
The Ramcharger is a sweetheart. It would be interesting to see how many of the horns in your vehicles actually work. All it would take is a battery, a switch, and a few jumper wires. Old horns sound so much better than the new ones do.
Forgot it was Thursday, it's been that kind of week. Still subscribed and a Patreon member. You may want to keep the miles low on the 59, but if you don't drive them you have problems.
Congrats to Dan. That Ram Charger is a real beauty. Those new Coopers might lead to a new program segment, "My Posh Tires". The 59 Fury ride over there was interesting. I'm something of a temp gauge junkie when I see old car videos, and the gauge seemed to be staying in its happy zone just fine. That's always a good thing with an old car. I was at an all-Mopar car show last Sunday, and either of these gems would have drawn a crowd there (especially the Fury).
Such a sweet find in that '91 Ramcharger, the only thing I don't like about it is that I don't own it! That would look so good sitting next to my '84 W-150 short bed "Marksman" (that came with a special edition Winchester 30-30, that I also still have in it's original box). And Scott, that '59 it just leaves me speachless....Thank Y'all so much for sharing.
I can honestly say I have remained subscribed since the day I subbed to the channel. It does help I think, that I watch every single episode the day they come out. Like it enough I am a proud patron.
Thanks so much for the kind words and for being one of the kind and generous people who keep this channel on the air... I really couldn't do it without you guys... Cheers from me and Frankers!
Had my '86 for 15 years. A Texas truck, it's rust free but it's always just been an old beater, although not abused since I've had it. I started rebuilding it after the wife died, something to keep my mind off my troubles. It now sports a 490lbft 410 stroker mated to a late model 8HP70 eight speed automatic, D60's, Edelbrock PF4 EFI and a loong list of other stuff. Even though it was initially built with junkyard parts and a $200 360 engine it's been the most dependable old truck I've ever had and has never left me stranded. We went to Colorado a couple times, made a trip to Moab Utah and wheeled it for five days, and New Mexico several times. Before long it's going on an extended trip around the western U.S. Up to Oregon and wherever else the road leads, maybe even Alaska.
Man I spent hundreds of hours in one plowing the dodge dealership lot in one that was blue. Such a sweet ride. I'd bought it too! Dang now I want one! Cut my teeth working on them old things. Great find!
I had an 82 Ram Charger Prospector package 4 wheel drive and out of all the rigs I've owned I miss that one the most. Even back in the 90's it was hard to find parts for seeing Chrysler wasn't even making enough parts for spare parts at the dealerships. Always liked the tailgate cause you could get under it during a rain storm.
Nice to see the '59 getting some fresh air. That classic must be a joy to drive. Cheers to you and all the agents and keep bringing the awesome content!😊😊😊😊😊😊
That's a really nice find on the Ramcharger. I also enjoy the 59 Fury, its a time capsule. Seeing Dan's new toy reminded me that I recently saw a nice looking Ramcharger in traffic near Columbus OH that stood out to me since it had 8 lug wheels & the distinctive sound of a Cummings diesel. Someone went & built himself the ultimate Ramcharger.
If any of you guys are looking for one of these, there is one available where I am. it is a 1992 360 V8 automatic 4X4, which is extra rare in Mexico, and it is a good price. I have a lot of pictures of it if you are interested. By the way door to door shipping is available. Thanks for showing this one, Scott.
Dear CWM Scott N. 👍👌👏 Although the outside and inside gorgeous green Frazer's interior, especially dashboard and steering wheel, is my favourite, I happily admit: Maaaan, looking at the very special steering wheel of your '59 Plymouth Fury is really a treat! 🙌 Apropos beauty: I guess I know pretty well why Francine didn't come with you this time. After you told her about the newly purchased GCFCE car, she simply feigned disinterest. Because the interior is black and dark grey, the Diva's beauty wouldn't be able to shine as much as usual! 😁 ;-) I'm just kidding of course. 3) Congratulations! Maaaan, this DRC is definitely a really clean original good looking vehicle! Especially for not being a low kilometres/mileage car and already over 30 years old. It was well kept by the former owners. Congrats to the GCFCE agent for selling the red truck (you can't respectively should better not keep 'em all). Because of the immaculate condition of the interior, I bet it was parked in a garage respectively under a roof when not driven. As always: Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards, luck and especially health to all of you (including the beautiful black poodle Diva of course).
That is an amazing ride. All the agents could instruct a master class in sourcing gems like that, except for maybe Dean. Lol thanks for the eye candy and sound bites.
My wife thought i was insane, but then i introduced her to the Cold War Motors youtube channel . and now , in comparison, she thinks i'm completely normal. Thanks Cold War Motors
It's really generous of Dan to give so much airtime to his constantly evolving collection. He really has an eye for picking up old cars with potential. I wonder where the red D100 ended up? That one was a real stunner, someone's going to be very happy with it!
I've never been unsubbed, but if I were, I would take umbrage. I have become enamored of your particular brand of inspired idiocy. Fond greetings from the piedmont of Georgia.
my god that is the nicest Ramcharger I have seen yet! My brother had a '79 fully loaded with a 360 - It was fun but brutal, that is the Imperial of RamChargers! great find

Taking care of it is the key. The Ramcharger is a prime example, just beautiful. Who cares if it has 20k or 200k, as long as it's preserved?
@@peteb2304 Absolutely. I can understand and appreciate the desire to steward things like classic cars for posterity, as historical/museum pieces, and future generations, but it's debatable whether those future generations will have any greater appreciation for it, or have any real use for it.

I love it when you guys call Mac and cheese craft dinner.
It's Kraft dinners! 😂

Growing up in the 50s and 60s, back then when you saw a car you knew exactly what the year, brand and model of most cars.... Love this show! ✌️
I love Ramchargers. Over the years I've owned 6, 2 pop-tops and 4 square bodies. '78 had the 400, and full time 4x4, but the '80 was the part time, fully loaded SE. 20 years ago I was searching for another pop-top, preferably another '80. I love the 59 and love all of your cars. Love the show watch all the time even watch your older ones. I have 2 cars and want more lol!!
That ‘59 is sweet! All those late 50’s Plymouths are sweet.
I'll keep doing what I can! Haha cheers...
Wow, man, that thing is a trip!!. Those fins, man. What a sweet car your 59 is...
Beautiful weather for driving....had the Avanti R2 out yesterday....just booked a BnB in South Bend called the Avanti House.....cool.
When you drove out the driveway with the headlights on it looked like a vintage motorweek review episode.
Love it! When the originals came out in the 70s I wanted one badly until I found out Chrysler opted for a full time 4WD unit. I forget the name or make of the brand they chose. That Ram Charger was a real find! The ASMR value of the gently crunching gravel and the purr of that sweet '59 was off the charts. It's amazing how Alberta went from frozen white to lush green so quickly. Beautiful.
The lush green turned into fiery hell more quickly than the frozen white went away.
Ramcharger Heaven. 👍🏻🇦🇺💯⛽️
The Dodge Ramcharger, full size Ford Bronco, and Chevy K5 Blazer were ALL true gems of this era. Any of them in good condition today would be excellent for camping or fishing trips and recreational towing duties for an outdoor family getaway. They were great vehicles.

That thing is an absolute unicorn. It is so clean and the 4 speed is absolutely perfect.
Hi Scott. You nailed it when you said cars used to be cool. The 59 sure is. The RamCharger is a 32 yr. old "new" toy. SWEET!

What a great example of when vehicles actually had style and class. The 59 and the Ram Charger are neat.

The 59 is suck a lovely car. I liked the Ramcharger too. It looks to be in great condition. Looking forward to the weekends shenanigans. All the best, Mart in England.
It's amazing as to what is still out there! And that Fury! Windows down and it was still as quiet as a church mouse. Brilliant. Love it.
I've never seen a manual, much less a bench seat in a ramcharger. What a grgreat find. That's a keeper.
Fins and clear steering wheels are still cool. And Scott, you're better off with the cars, no wife and no furniture
Oh, tbh I pretty much love my vintage sofa in front of the woodstove to comfily recline when looking for more cars and motorcycles ... 😂
The tailgate on those Ramchargers are priceless.
Yes if you can find without the hinges broke off
Very nice! I'm a 1959 too... I think yours is in better shape. Cheers from the shed
The last of the big 3 two door SUV's that are still affordable! Most people with K5's or Broncos think the trucks are made of gold these days.
WOW!, The Fury looks so much better in the sun on the road than it ever looked in the garage. Very nice!

I had no idea a bench seat and a four speed stick were available in a Ramcharger. Very cool vehicle.
That Ramcharger looks bloody fantastic!
Man that Ramcharger is SWEET! The GCFCE hits it out of the park yet again!
Paradise
Forgot it was Thursday, it's been that kind of week. Still subscribed and a Patreon member. You may want to keep the miles low on the 59, but if you don't drive them you have problems.
Wow, can't be more than a handful left on the continent that look that good, fair play to Dan. Cheers!
Awesome dodge for Dan at the GCFCE (THANKS FOR TELLING US)
They really find some beautiful cars. This is no different.
See you Saturday
Dan’s Ram Charger is an incredible find ! Mighty kind of him to let you take it for a spin. Cheers 🍻🇨🇦
Rack up the miles! Enjoy the ride.
The 59 Fury is such an awesome car. The Ram Charger is great as well. Cheers!
Awesome Ride !!!! Two Chrysler Products worlds apart and Both extremely cool
nothing better than the sound of a grand old dame crunching down a gravel drive way

Dont worry about the miles if your not going to sell it. Enjoy it.
The 93 Dodge is a great survivor. 4x4 looks great! 💯👊👍
@ Beautiful Mopars! Thanks for the video.
Thursday one hitter.
At your age never deprive yourself of anything, drive it.🍺
Man I spent hundreds of hours in one plowing the dodge dealership lot in one that was blue.
Use 59 as much as you want. It's just a car and can be rebuilt. I'd drive it during summer.
*CONGRATS DAN!*
Seriously nice example of the breed there, well done!

That is a sweet truck. Handsome and usable for most things. Great that he was able to find it like that.
Dan's Ram C is sweet! I soo agree with you Scott...your comment on the coolness of that Fury /Car from the past is spot on!
Have been for years and I will be until I can not get around anymore. Good luck and good evening.
Love manual transmissions! Been driving them for 45 years now.
The bench seat got me into loads of slaps...I always seemed to get my hand on a knee,or thigh hahaha
The Plymouth is gorgeous!
You should enjoy it Scott.
That Ram Charger is unbelievable!
Pretty neat! An acquaintance of mine had one of those and was the Prospector version. Two tone metallic gold and creamy yellow. Sweet truck!
Never seen one with a bench seat 😊
Dear CWM Scott N.
👍👌👏 Although the outside and inside gorgeous green Frazer's interior, especially dashboard and steering wheel, is my favourite, I happily admit: Maaaan, looking at the very special steering wheel of your '59 Plymouth Fury is really a treat! 🙌
Apropos beauty: I guess I know pretty well why Francine didn't come with you this time.
Dan scores again!
That is an awesome find and super jealous. That winch bumper on the Ramcharger would be nice too.
That is an amazing ride. All the agents could instruct a master class in sourcing gems like that, except for maybe Dean. Lol thanks for the eye candy and sound bites.
Very nice Ramcharge👍you don't see them that clean. I had a 78 with a 440 4 barrel
Beautiful drive lovely day gorgeous car great friends can't get better than that 😊 thanks 😊
What a beautiful truck, never see those anymore
GREAT VIDEO!! Nice to see the '59 out and about again, what a gorgeous and magnificent car!
...sweet ride.....I always liked those Ramchargers......
I've never been unsubbed, but if I were, I would take umbrage. I have become enamored of your particular brand of inspired idiocy. Fond greetings from the piedmont of Georgia.
That’s a fine addition to the gcfce! I’ve always liked the later Ramchargers.
my god that is the nicest Ramcharger I have seen yet! My brother had a '79 fully loaded with a 360 - It was fun but brutal, that is the Imperial of RamChargers! great find
