I decided to make a collection video of all my Hot Wheels Star Wars ships for the year of 2017. This video will show off my ships, as well as show my favorites. Hope you enjoy the video. I’ve painted a bunch of them so far, mainly just doing a black wash for details. Do you guys have an idea how to wash black models like the Kylo Ren’s shuttle? Since a black wash wouldn’t really do much against the black body of the ship
I would probably do a drybrushing of silver or other mettalic colors to bring out certain details. Like a ship that black would be hard to do, black washes work best when the wash is darker than the main color.

I love the hot wheels ships, my rarest that I can find is the republic attack cruiser, that thing is awesome. This video also inspired me to find the imperial shuttle, took a while but I got one

The Points of Articulation the price I paid for my republic cruiser was 20, it was the lowest price I could find, I think I got lucky at that. One day I’d love to own the tie interceptor but that’s crazy expensive for me to find, but I can wait
Yea I have seen those babies go from twenty something all the way to eighty bucks. Also I hunted that TIE interceptor for like a year before I grabbed it haha. Hopefully I get those new ships soon to review.

I like to collect some more - the AT-AT, AT-ACT, AT-ST, Rey's speeder, Y-Wing. Though its really rare to see those nowadays in the Toy stores here in Philippines.
Sounds like a cool group of ships there. Yea Some of my other viewers from that area say the same thing. Its a shame, so many people from all over the world want these and Mattel just doesn't distribute them well.

I do not have Poe's Xwing with closed wings. However I did get the white version so I will review that soon.

Great collection. I’ve collected only the classic original trilogy ships: X-Wing, Falcon, Tie Fighter and Star Destroyer. I’d like to expand to more vehicles. Original trilogy only, though. Would like to get the AT AT, Imperial Shuttle next. Yet the shuttle is going for a bit of money right now.

Finally got the Imperial Shuttle. At Toys R Us. For about 5 bucks. Cheap I guess because they were going out of business.

Awesome collection, my hot wheels collection is mostly cars, I have a few star wars items, I have all the At-At walkers, I want to go Han Solo blue landspeeder, might wait though untill the black series come out with one

It's never gonna happen but I wish that Mattel or Hasbro would make a to-scale series of ALL of the star wars ships that are in the movies and TV shows. I think the X-wing should be what the rest of the ships are scale to. Capital ships would be expensive but so worth it.
I have been hoping for this my whole life. But the best to scale would be the xwing miniatures game.
Also missing luke's land speeder and the bike speeder from return of the jedi. Both quite rare to find
I have them now i made this video in december. have a lot more now.

I must say Imp shuttle was one of my favs as a kid and is next on the list , got bout 46 still hunting arc/jango:starfighter twin pack/barge but lucky to have yodas ..
I need those too! also need that yoda haha. The HW shuttle is amazing! Nice its turning into summer here very humid.
They are slowly re releasing the ships so hopefully I can get a newer release. Yoda is on the list, but still have yo wait for the other solo wave and concept series.

You should do a wash on one of them, i did a black wash on the ghost and on the u wing and they look great

Hey Colton thank you for watching! Yea the prices fluctuate with the interceptors. The normal blue one was 27 bucks for awhile. But If you look you can def find them cheaper. I was lucky and looked for lots on ebay, I found the full red imperial guard tie, as well as the normal release version.

XD", A Star Destroyer, a rebel X-wing armada "all Red squadron, I painted the other numbers in!" A Empire TIE Fighter and TIE Striker, an AT-AT and AT-ACT, The Phantom, The Ghost, a Y-wing, A U-wing, A partisan X-wing,"tied with the Talon and U-wing as my favourites" A Vulture Droid, two Jedi Interceptors,"I call them Blue Squad", a Resurgent Class Star Cruiser "the First Order star destroyer", a Naboo N1, two FO SF TIE Fighters, Slave One and a Mon Calamari Turd! "Painting time for that, methinks!"

Hi thanks for the comment. The two gold ships there I got from Toys r Us they were single carded. I reviewed each seperetly too. I have another two to review from a last jedi set from best buy aswell.

45 is a nice size collection. Damn I feel bad for my UK viewers. The distribution overseas is very bad. Its bad in the US too at times.
There’s always eBay you may pay a bit more. But sometimes if you’re patient you can find good deals

Do they move or roll?
Some do have moving parts on them yes. In late 2018 they did make the Jawa Sandcrawler, which did have wheels. For the most part these ships are little static representations of their movie counterparts.

The ship seen in the opening I got from a micro machines pack. The only CIS ship I have for Hot Wheels is the droid starfighter I purchased that from a walmart when it came out like 2 years ago. I hope this answers your questions.

Roman I do in fact love the designs, the Liberty is among my favorites. But I do think HW dropped the ball with this one haha. Just my opinion tho.

Thanks for watching! Jango’s Slave I from what I know was only released in a 2-pack with Obi-wan’s Jedi fighter. It was on sail couple weeks ago on the hot wheels website. I would guess check online for it on different websites.

No I may love these ships but im not crazy enough to pay that price. I am always on the hunt tho. the Yoda Jedi fighter was actruly donated to my channel which I am very thankful for. At the moment the only ones I believe Im missing are the arc, Inquisiters tie, the jedi fighter vs slave I 2pack, and the two newest concept ships. Besides that I do have all the unique molds they made ( not so much with the repaints tho)

I was going to collect the hot wheels star wars ships, but what I don't like is they don't have many rebel ships. Where's the transport, medical ship, and all the others?
That's why I like star wars armada ship's, I don't play the game but I collect the ships...
That's a good question Patrick. Slowly Hot Wheels are making more ships. I guess one day if the line continues we will get what were looking for. The B-wing is out now in places, I don't have it yet.
You could get a bunch of these and use them as a cheap alternative to the x wing game
I guess you could but the HW ships are way bigger then the xwing ones.
The Points of Articulation I know they also aren’t in scale with each other (which would be awesome if they were) but still. You could also make your own cards or print them off the internet or something
Speaking of which, would you rather these ships be scaled correctly to each other or do you like how they’re sized already? Personally I like the nice small pocket size scale of them but I’d like it if they tried to get some of them in scale with each other like the smaller fighters. What do you think?
Great question Spector. For me personally I really like ships being in scale which is why I fell in love with the X-Wing ships. But the Hw scale they use now make all ships basically the same size making the collection uniform. I think if i could make a perfect collection I would do them to scale, would be hard for larger vessels tho.
The Points of Articulation that’s what I was thinking. You’d definitely have to make sacrifices, either make the fighters tiny or make the capitol ships huge. I think it could work out if the average fighter was about the size of a micro machine. I think that would be good scale
Armada did a perfect representation of the home one, hot wheels did a pis poor job on that iconic ship. Shame on you hot wheels
The Mon calamari cruiser isn't rubbish
I am a huge fan of mon cal ships but the Hot wheels model is pure rubbish compared to their other ships in the line. But its all about perspective if you like it, thats your opinion and I accept that.

Thats pretty cool to have them in a battle pose. When I put mine out I like to have them just lined up next to eachother boring I know but it has like a museum look lol.

There are tons of photos, of older ships with new stands. Coming soon is a repaint of the Jedi starfighter/interceptor. You can find the photos on the Star Wars Hot Wheels Facebook page. I have seen yodas starfighter, sith infiltrator, and some other older ships with new stands to mach the newer ships.
We just have to wait sadley seems we get ships every couple of months.
I know they are just pictures,boxart, and prototype images but the guy who runs the page is awesome and has been very accurate in gathering his data. I never found his data wrong for over a year now.
